Until they start complying to Federal Immigration Laws and give up their stance as a sanctuary state.

Here are a couple ideas.

Truckers;
Refuse to take loads in or out of Ca.
If you can plan another route, go around Ca.
If you can avoid it, don't purchase fuel there.

Vacationers;
Plan a trip somewhere else. Arizona is a great state to visit with lots of nature and wildlife.

Avoid spending one dime in Ca.
Don't buy meats or produce labeled from Ca.

Add to this list, if you care to and I will gladly spread it to all my other sites.

From now on, I'll check all my grocery - especially produce - to see where it comes from ... if it says 'Mexico' or 'California' (like there's a difference anymore), it stays on the shelf - I'll just treat it like stuff that's labeled 'Made in China' ... I don't buy any of that crap, either ... California wants to play 'Boycott' ... ? Bring it, bitchhh ...

I think you have a lot of work to do and I think you need to consider an alternative attitude - at least that may have a chance of working, while your current idea seems a bit lacking. sorry!

Even New York and Texas are a dismal second and third place to CA.
While that may change, given the environmental issues of the state, I doubt a boycott would be very effective.

Well..considering that the State of California is dead broke and 500 Million dollars+ in debt....

A boycott would, indeed, hit them right where it would hurt the most.

Hey...while Cali is at it...why don't they boycott that 20% of their total electricity used that just happens to COME FROM Arizona????

I mean, if they are gonna boycott the state, then they should do it ALL THEY WAY.

I thought the boycott was just Los Angeles,,,,

I was mistaken. It's Los Angeles that is 500+ million in debt.

The state is over 19 BILLION dollars in debt.

The point remains, though.

If they want to boycott Arizona...maybe Arizona should boycott L.A. and cut off the electricity they send there.

Oh yeah. The water from the Colorado River too.

What gets me is that not ONE of the people who are screaming racism and racial profiling can point to ONE SENTENCE of that law that shows any of it.

They just keep repeating the " talking points " and figure reading the law and making a coherent argument is completely unnecessary.

here is the controversial sentence(s):

B. FOR ANY LAWFUL CONTACT MADE BY A LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICIAL OR A LAW
21 ENFORCEMENT AGENCY OF THIS STATE OR A LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICIAL OR A LAW
22 ENFORCEMENT AGENCY OF A COUNTY, CITY, TOWN OR OTHER POLITICAL SUBDIVISION OF
23 THIS STATE WHERE REASONABLE SUSPICION EXISTS THAT THE PERSON IS AN ALIEN WHO
24 IS UNLAWFULLY PRESENT IN THE UNITED STATES,

what would REASONABLE SUSPICION of non documentation be exactly?

they have since amended it to be more specific and states that this SUSPICION cannot be based solely upon race,, and that request of proof is only permitted in the execution of some ACTUAL violation which is being investigated...

if I , having attended mere state colleges, could see the potential for profiling in such vague wording,, its not odd to me that a Harvard Grad and constitutional law teacher may see it too...

those are all violations of law,,,,fair game

different than stopping with no violation being investigated EXCEPT documentation

I was trying to find out what percentage of police in the phoenix area who are hispanic.

My bet, there are are than 50%. How, if they stop and check another hispanic, could that be percieved as profiling?

Another thing I've heard time and again. If mexican isn't a race, how can a nexican be racially profiled?
