I don't know. It'd be a long drive though.

It's printed circuit board manufacturing. We do a lot of work for the government, oil companies, areospace, etc. Pretty much anyone willing to a lot of money.

I have a job, it sucks, but it pays. At leastuntil I piss them off enough to fire me.

Tonight I was told I needed to wear a tie. Told them they'd have to pay a WHOLE lot more, since I don't button the top two buttons on this shirt. Would look rather pornographic... I got such a dirty look! LMFAO!

I have recently come unemployed as of March 15th, 2010. Was given a layoff notice, in it stated, "We are unable to pay our employees and have to do layoffs. And unfortunately YOU were randomly selected".

Now, I am undergoing this unemployment thing and its killing me softly. The companies and management that stated they understood and would work with me, 2 months later, they are now complaining.

My landlord stated, "Well, i didn't say we would work with you indefinite!" Geez! I thought. Its only been 2 months. But, atlas, when you are a work-a-hol-lic, 2 months does seem indefinite.

I am not sure what to do now cause I am here by myself, and unemployment just doesn't cover everything. Whats a Medical Billing and Coding Specialist to do?

Employed. Same place for the last 15 years. We were once 300+ and now we are 9 due to outsourcing. I'm torn between looking for another job or just riding this one out (and getting paid nicely for doing pretty much nada). I know it seems like a simple decision but to me it is not. ohwell

I feel your pain MB. And I know the frustration of making about 1/3 on unemployment compared to what I made as a producer. But you end up finding creative solutions. I'm just finishing up Tier 3 of 18 mos of UI.

Actually my son said the other day that altho we cut back, he hasn't noticed a difference in lifestyle (excepting eating out much more often    )

And I don't know what a Medical Billing and Coding Specialist is to do .. I can't even figure out what a Producer is supposed to do .. except for me, perhaps move back to LA. ha ha ha

I thought the health/med industry was booming .. I'm shocked you are having trouble finding work shocked

This is where working a dead end job for a really, really small company comes in handy for staying employed. I'll keep the coffee fresh, the cappucino machine cleaned and filled, and the cooler stocked for those of you moving on to new and (hopefully) better horizons. Good luck! The future can only improve.

Well if you are doing nothing, then no .. that's NOT a simple decision. Life is short. Make it count

The non-profit I worked for went from 1400 to around 800 now. I hear ya on the downsizing ..
