I am growing my beard back after 18+ years have been told it looks good, do u ladies prefer beards over shaveing? ( I had a neighbor tell me I lokk REAL sexxy with a beard and musstach!!!

I'm not a fan of beards but some men look good with a beard. Gerard Butler comes to mind.
Stay away from just a goatee or a "cop" mustache!  Those were not in style when they were in style!  Those are two out-of-date, gawd awful facial hair styles. I like Comanches; the longer, strip of hair from the lip to chin. It's a "soul patch" all grown up!  Regardless of how anyone else feels - do what YOU like! If you feel sexy in a beard then rock that beard!  Make sure you keep it clean and neat for smooching!

Take it from someone that has had what I do for many years, you have to do what YOU feel is right for you. If you think it looks good, go for it...your NOT going to look better to everyone...with or without the beard. It's just a matter of taste! Occasionally I will shave all of mine off...because I get tired of looking at it, and for a change as well. But then I let it grow back, to where I feel more like myself. It kind of falls into what we've always heard: "Damned If You Do, and Damned If You Don't"! Good luck with your decision.

beards are HAWT......
as long as they are kept short....& taken care of! Long & shaggy is pretty narly! goatee's are damn hot too!!!!!!!

I grow a beard every once in awhile, and I always make sure it looks clean and neat. Conditioning it also helps to keep the hair from being too prickly, and always make sure it is trimmed nice and neat. I'm told I look good with a beard as well, but I mainly grow one when feel like doing so. Would be cool to see ya with a beard Mikey. I say go for it.
