I love my garden..I have not gotten anything in the ground yet and many things should have already been planted. Our weather keeps changing and I know of several who have had everything freeze. My mother just lost 22 tomato plants...
I'm not so sure it's going to happen this year..we can't seem to get spring here let alone a summer.

Losing 22 tomatoes plants sucks! Seed grown or store bought?

Jeez, I thought that the word..."gardening" was a hidden word for smoking pot. And I would have said in my days gone by, I did find pleasure in it and it was very theraputic......But never mindlaugh  smokin

Well the giant and Russian sunflowers I planted were coming up and have suddenly disappeared....deer tracks in the dirt....waiting for the gourds to appear. Mostly patio gardening in pots on the deck. Tomatoes, peppers, herbs. Just added worm compost to my pots too!!!

I started a garden with tomatoes, cucumbers, squash, green peppers, and pumpkins (for the kids). We had a couple of days of frost and I just about lost my tomato plants but now the whole garden is growing great. I go out and look at it every single morning. I can't wait to see how it produces!

i'm the same. flowers only. well i have a current bush and a raspberry bush and strawberries, but no vegetables. i just don't have the time to pick.

i remember when i was first married and my former-very-italian-father-in-law wanted us to start a vegetable garden. every so often he'd come over and see zucchini the size of a watermelon and start yelling at me. i finally told him to just give up on us.

i also find it very therapeutic, especially weeding.

I suppose she will..since we got snow last night, unless the news warned peeps about it, I'd say some may have lost more of their gardens. I just don't think I'm going to bother. :(

Snow! Oh my goodness! Is that normal for your area? Right now in Michigan we are drying in a heat wave of mid to high 80s (which isn't exactly normal here).

Flowers - Been having fun with roses this year. Also put in some purple bush things that are doing well. The lilies are about to pop, and doing good with the cockscomb this year. We've been putting everything in pots the past couple of years and have doing far better with them then straight in the ground.

Veggies - Doing well. The corn got washed away so need to redo that. Everything else is looking good and I think the strawberries might go another round. I need to expand their circle out.

Got the peaches and apple trees planted today. The plums were already in, and need to get the pears done, but still cutting down mesquite in the orchard area. We have cute little peaches growing. Awwwww!
