That is correct, it is his first post. His introduction if you will, do you start every introduction to new people telling them how nice you are? Or even that you are looking for a sweet man/woman...this is why internet dating fails, because people think they can jump right into a relationship in a matter of minutes, which is consequently why online dating gets a bad name...because most of those 'jump on, say I want a lady, tell them I'm nice' relationships fail within the first 1-3 months. Approach every dating area the same that you would in real life and eventually you find someone you click with, it isn't as easy as '1, 2, 3.' all dating sites with pictures and profiles operate similarly, with a similar mentality (jumping into a relationship within 1 month or less), they intend to work like resumes if you ask me, that's why it doesn't work. There is no way an no how I would get excited by a girl sending me smileys and "auto replies" of "hey how are you" or "I like your picture". That's why I don't like those dating sites, since I refuse to be like an employer or "get employed" by someone. oh c'mon..it works for some. It's worked for many on here and I don't think it happened in a month for most of them. There are are some that have been coupled up since I've been here almost a year now. You get back what ya put into it.... |

True, but I've found not jumping the bandwagon and flying right into a relationship tends to work better in the long-run...eventually ends either way, but at least it lasts longer. |
