What is life without risks? How many people do think have become successful and happy without taking risks? Sometimes you have to fail in oder to succeed in life. Don't be afraid of risk.

I've always said, 'you have to jump off some roofs in order to find out if you can land on the skateboard properly.'

How about Metered Risk?

For instance,

Regular job. Pro: Makes money. No threat of any repercussions for earning money. Con: Low revenue (income). generally no chance for any real advancement unless you are really all that.

Drug dealing: Pro: Very High Income (predisposing you keep out of your product). Con: Everyone is out to get you. High risk of being target of robbery, and arrests for dealing drugs becasue it is illegal!

Same with Tax evasion. The Pro is you can keep some extra coin. the Con is if caught you will pay through the nose in fines and penalties.

Some risks are worth taking, Others are just plain foolish.

That is why I like to meter my risk. Without taking a chance here and there you will never get ahead. Taking the wrong or too many chances though is the path to ruin.

Yes, it is important to understand and weigh the risks. To take a blind risk is foolish indeed.

Hahahaha.

Everything is a risk. I say, roll with the punches and don't be too worried about getting knocked out by life. It happens to everybody.
