Example opening the car door, pushing in the chair, ect. on a first date. Women do you find this approach uncomfortable?

I've been raised in a very "old fashioned" environment, so I don't find that uncomfortable.

I consider that to be normal behavior.

I open the car door on every date and excursion.

Manners are always "in".

I draw the line just before asking her father if I can ask her out. In the modern age I think that's too far. However, if by some amazing miricale I think I might ask someone to marry me, I'll still ask her dad first.

I think that 'old fashion' dating behavior from a guy shows respect.

same here. I've been raised "old fashioned". So basically I always being courteous. That's what makes many women think of me like I got some agenda or "there is something isn't right".

If I switch to being an a$$hole instead, suddenly they like that better.

We live in an upside down world. Sodom Gomorrah stuff is the norm.

I'm sorry Drew, I should have been more specific. I am waiting on a man to ask me out in person, pick me up for said date, take me to a place of his chosing, treat me like a lady and kiss me on the check as he drops me off, after walking me to the door.
