makes the F150 truck?
I tried to join this site tonight to get some information on repairing my truck, and to get in, you have to answer that question. I THOUGHT I knew, but wrong 2x.
Surely someone knows?

I'm not surprised. I'm an auto tech. Us car guys all share the same warped gene.

i guess you would have to considering that you are always dealing with people who cant wrap their heads around what it is that youre doing.
it must be frustrating.

Actually, to me anyway, it's not frustrating at all. I always explain/show to my customers what needs done, why and what the part(s) do in a way that they can understand, so I normally don't get toooo much of the 'dumb dog look' from them.

smile2 I just try to treat my customers they way I'd like to be treated. Apparently I must be doing something right since roughly 99% of them are repeat customers, the majority of them won't let anybody else touch their cars and I've been going for about 17 years without ever advertising and getting busier and busier every year to the point that a 100 hour work week is slow!

No, they said no to Ford, Lexus and a other one that doesn't come to mind right now. It's 5 am and am going to bed.

Then either they're idiots or it's a trick question. The F150 is a 1/2 ton pickup and one of the most popular ever which has been made by Ford for over 60 years and going strong. Now that I think of it, I own one!

agree ... some trick to the actual question or they are morons

I worked at the factory installing robots to make the F series for Ford in Oakville Ontario ... before they closed that plant.

the F150 is the ½-ton ... F250 is the ¾-ton and the F350 is the 1-ton pickups

The E series is the commercial van.

I thought about that also and it's a possibility. Damn stupid computers that think they're Alex Trebek and have to get all technical about it.

My dad still has his '78 Ford pickup that he's had since brand new, and he and my mom still use it to pull their 5th wheel.
