ive heard some songs for the first time and gotten shivers up my back
from it like the firstr time i heard fade to black or living in the
past some songs just i find it easy to get into them if yall would like
to leave the names of songs that you really got into like that and why
id like to hear from every one

You know lion i like lots of the music of the 80's, which i forgotten
the names to them.

whiskey lullaby by brad paisley...it was the love gone wrong song
and its a tear jerker.

strawberry wine comes to mind

whisky lullaby is a good one. i also like don't take the girl and a
bunch of others but mostly i just get them from a big hit in football.

the one that does it to me is the opening and closing poems of Nights in
Whit Satin by The Moody Blues

Bob Seger "Main street" I work as a mechanic in Vegas on main street
when I was younger and the last time I herd that song I got chills

Hate Me by Blue October, As I left my husband because he got into drugs
and that song reminds me of something a addict would sing to his other
half, I shiver everytime I hear that song.

OMG! My most recent ex is a IV crystal addict. When I met him he was
clean and sober and things were great. When he relapsed and went back
to the syringe~ it was like the devil himself had taken over his body,
mind and soul. The man that I fell in love with ceased to exist. When
he first started using again, I remember him saying that I should just
let him leave and that he was a "maggot" and that I needed to see what
was "good for me". I told him I couldn't do that because I loved
him...his responce was, "you'll end up hating me."

About three weeks ago a very good friend of mine played "Hate Me" by
Blue October for me. When I looked up the lyrics (which I posted in
another forum) I sat and cried for about an hour. It was errie in a
familiar way.

Yes addiction is sad but I have learned to let go and there is no way I
can help his situation at all and It was not a option for me anymore to
stay around and try, It destroyed me and my family. I have been on my
own now for a year and a half and I have my own house and my own self
now. Thank gosh I left when I did. I was married for 10 years. I also
built a NarAnon site online 6 years ago and I have over 500 members as
there were no NarAnon meetings here in AZ.

wat a song!!! i forgt about rascall flats "i'm moving on" and it came at
the right time to. helped me a alot go through rough times. made him go
horse sining it lol....

thanx for the info im always lookin for new music to listen to and i
like it when a song really gives of emotion .has anyone everheard leave
that thing alone by rush its an instramental but man it deff has a real
powerful emotion in it.

Teddy Bear and Getty Up Go on my old 8 track player brings back
memories. I love those trucking ballads.

For me it is Steve Earl's Copperhead Road. It has a real connection
with my past and families past as well as Copperead road is only about
11 miles from my home. The developer had the name changed as he thought
it gave a feeling of deadly snakes to a very beautiful ridge over
looking the valley. I wish I had the full details but I was to young
when it went down. The gentleman in the song was one of my grand daddies
moon shine pals son. Fast cars, home made liquor and pot are a family
history for me.

Who made who by ACDC also touched me. I think it was a timing issue. I
was questioning everything about that time.

Imagine by John Lennon to me shows a real love for human kind. It is
one of the songs on my quiet mood list on the computer.

Then I have my classical music picks. Who needs words to tell a story?

I'm listening to Bob Seger " Hollywood Nights" right now getting some
chills.lol
