Does anyone really ever know... I only believe half of what others tell me or write...... To me actions will show the true person and that can not happen unless you meet them in person and spend time with them...

That is why unless they live within the area so we can spend time together I will not even let it get any farther then that...

I have in the past and it did not work out..... most of the time they were not exactly like I thought they were. Not saying that is how it is with all of them just what I have seen so far... Hell most of them are not the way they describe themselves even if you meet them in person..

It is a gamble you must take but one I'm willing to keep trying till I find the right one for me..... bigsmile

Taking that gamble will pay off in time. It does take time to get to know someone. It still comes down to that people will think what they want and most try to read between the lines instead of just listening to what is being said to them. That's usually where there is a communication brake down.

Everything I need to know about sombody I learn from their eyes. Whether it is the twinkle that asks for a kiss or the furowed eyebrows that disagree with what you say, reguardless of the words that come out of somebody's mouth. The eyes tell the true story.

Typed words are a very sterile form of communication. Gauging emotions is nearly impossible, words and commitments are easy to break, and personalities are easy to fake. Which leads to the question; Are the people you talk to on the internet real, or is it a liars paradise?

There is no real answer to the question, because it is a combonation of real people trying to express who they are and how they really feel and people that use it as a way to preend to be somebody they are not. I just wonder where the majority lies.

 I am real  I am on the internet

There is most definitely an answer to your question, but entirely up to you whether to believe it or not. It doesn't matter what my eyes say, my mouth says, it's all up to you whether you believe something or not.

Hey guys,
This thread has been cleaned up and returned.

It is never acceptable, to question the validity/authenticity, of another member on the forums.

Please return to the discussion.

Thanks

Of course Internet people are real. Of course people lye. Some might just need to talk. Some might be looking for the one. Some might just need a friend. Some might want a little more. Some might seem real and some might seem flakey. Some might just need a laugh. Some might be tired of crying. Some might be bored. Some might need a brake. Some might just need someone else to talk to but never meet in person. Some might have an idea. Some might be clueless. Some might feel lost inside and looking for a change. Some might want to share and some might remain shy. Some have a lot to say. Some just keep it all inside. People are who they are and if they want anyone to get to know them, then they might just send a "Hi". Well, that's all for now. Thanks for reading, if you took the time. drinks
