30 seconds to mars is my favorite band the music is amazing, self lifting, incouraging, and when i stop listening to it i feel like i care a little more about the world and people also 50% of all the money jared leto and his brother make goes to different charity organizations for starving and war torn countries this band are a grp of saints

As far as bands that r inspiring to me, I 'd have to say Sugarland, their music is so positive, and the messages so hopeful. I'd say the same thing also about Van Halen's lyrics - most of them - especially from the earlier days with songs like Why Can't This Be Love, and When Love Walks In. When I need some music to lift my mood, either of these r a good choice, Dixie Chicks too - for the same reasons I think a lot of baands play upligting music, but these 3 probably moreso than others
