'Nuclear' means of or to do with the nucleus of something. It usually, but not always, refers to the nucleus of an atom. From this, we get nuclear energy (energy stored in the nucleus when it forms) nuclear bombs/power stations (which utilise this energy for certain purposes) and nuclear charge (the electrical charge in/on a nucleus), among many other terms.

Pacifism is love of peace and hatred of war. It's opposition to war or fighting of any kind. One believes in pacifism is a pacifist. A pacifist hates war and doesn't like arguing or fighting of any kind.

US Military Dictionary: nuclear pacifism

I take it that if there aren't any people to have war then all we be peaceful. I wonder why we worship the bomb.

I think you have your analogy a little mixed up. In the field of worship I think the bomb would be the devil.

That would make Iran the devil worshipers. Modern nuke powers are just trying to keep the genie in the bottle.

I guess I was thinking of the movie, "Planet of the Apes". Charlton Heston was in that one cave with the surviving humans who were still able to speak and had some sanity to them. They could talk via telepathy.

Pacifism is love of peace and hatred of war. It's opposition to war or fighting of any kind.

The above definition of "pacifism" is somewhat incomplete.
Alvin York was a pacifist, and yet he agreed to fight in WWI because he was fighting to defend others.

Are you talking of Sargeant York the reporter or was it the one who wrote what was going on over there?

Peace as long as you don't push the wrong button. I hope you aren't a button pusher. But if you are you good at sewing them back on?waving

The belief that a war involving nuclear weapons is not a winnable or “just” war, and is unjustifiable because of its uniquely devastating consequences.

Maybe we should go nuke somebody just for fun. We might like it.
