Nope...Ive been "single" for 7 yrs now. I would love to meet my forever man, but I also really enjoy my life. More and more peeps are making the decision to live alone. Your just part of the wave and far from alone.

 I have been divorced and single since 2004 I would love to be with a man who genuinely loves and accepts me. I am not yet confident in trying to start a new relationship its just a matter of time before I meet someone ( well that's what I keep telling myself)   |

I have not seen my husband for two years, but for some I am still not single because I havent officially gotten a divorce

Got divorced in 1998, had a year long relationship in 2003 - been single since. Situation doesn't worry me as it happens. I am a firm believer in the saying that you can only be happy with someone else when once you have accepted whatever might have happened in your world and are happy within your own skin. Carrying around a lot of unresolved stuff (otherwise known as emotional baggage) - then imposing it upon someone else is simply not fair - and frankly creates an unworkable situation in my opinion.

....why would 4 years single be abnormal...you are a young busy mum, who appears to have her priorities in perfect order.
I call it discerning...you've not jumped into the first crazy thing that turned up....I applaude you. I've been comfortably single all my life..(I think there's only one of me in here.. )... Nah...I like people...and have many deep and rewarding relationships with people...extremely satisfying...intimate in the way of honesty and mutual affection for each other...without the labels and the whole spastic-ness of this man/woman obligation-ridden romantic relationship thingo. I love, and am loved....what more does a human require? Sex....that's available anywhere!
