Has anyone ever heard or seen, and if so, do you know where I can get snowshoes for a 16 lb Boston Terrier.
My dog couckoo is haveing a hard time walking in the snow. esp, when it has a top crust of ice.

Hey.
I'm serious. The snow here, and we have a lot, has a coating of ice on the top which is hard enough to hurt her paws but not hard enough to support her weight.

What can I do?

LOL
I've tried Chevy but she's a dog who likes to follow her own path.

She will walk on top for a bit but then her legs break through and it scrapes her legs. You can tell it hurts her because after a bit she'll just stove up and I have to go pick her up.

It really is a problem. She has light scrapes all up her legs from the layer of ice. 10 inches of snow is a lot for a 12 inch dog.laugh laugh laugh

I might suggest that you get a nice comfortable dog sled and sit your puppy in it, then hook the sled up to a Husky or two and tell your dog to enjoy the ride. There, problem solved!
