My gosh ChangeoffHeart You are full of questions tonight!!

To answer seriously, I was almost totally dysfunctional for months after my husband died. The first few years were all faking it, faking being 'normal'.

So my answer is yes.

Had a book of matches catch on fire with several other books of same while driving. Really, this happened to me...ok, maybe this post was a 'stream of conciseness' kind of thing...

I have often wondered if there really are people who are dysfunctional, or perhaps instead dysfunctional circumstances that some people handle better than others - like your dysfunctional in one circumstance that seems normal to me & vice versa

not that I know of, although it does seem to culturally be 'the norm', its not really that normal in my life(its more the exception than the rule, that is)

I prefer the term 'ordinary' as opposed to 'normal'

Normal has implications that I don't think apply to many people.

I think my life and family situations are fairly, ordinary.
