I have heard so many negatives about facebook I never thought about trying it. I decided to set up an account and see. It is kinda cool. I've been on for 1 day. I have chatted with a couple friends from childhood, my little league baseball coach, and some friends from high school. I guess that's why it's so popular huh?.............

I enjoy facebook too. It's instrumental in reconnecting me with long lost friends all over the globe, including relatives. Like all forms of technology, some people abuse it, and some people are only taken in by the negative.

Alot of people have accounts thats for sure. I even got to say hello to my very first girlfriend. I had not talk to her in years............

I love it I too have contacted people that I havent talked to in decades!!! And I sent U a friends request this morning on FB!!!

The only thing bad about Facebook I've found is sometimes you com across people you'd rather not remember.

And dont open anything U have ANY dobts about its easy to get a virus on there if U arent carefull!!!

I like Facebook. It's actually changed my life. I have re-connected with friends and family I haven't talked to in years....and it's good to re-connect.

I spend way more time on there than here, there are so many options and many ex Minglers on there that are from the old JSH!!!!

I just reconnected with my first love this past week via FB. On a whim, I looked him up after 20+ years figuring everybody and their brother seems to have an account. Score! Found him in a matter of seconds, sent him a "Nice to see your smile hasn't changed a bit!" message, blew his mind with a blast from the past, and we've talked everyday since! I'd say it's a damn good invention!

I like FB tooo, have connected with lots of friends from the past and I can keep up with my grandkids as they are on there.. They're 18, 20 and 26...(sometimes its better not to know what they're up to...lol)

I love it, I have family on it and mingle friends on it, and old school friends who I hadnt contacted for years, and even though I have moved clear across the country it has allowed me have visits from people who I knew at school who have moved here as well. so its excellent.
Also I can see what everyone is up to in there lives and keep in touch, which I couldnt if I didnt have it.. I love it. |

I enjoy posting pictures so my friends and family can see my travels. It's also nice to see my "friends" pics of their families. A lot of those folks live far enough away I almost never see them, especially those I knew in college.
Plus I love making fun of peoples "status updates." One has to watch how they word things around me. |

Well try as I might I find FB very difficult to navigate, now you tell me it is easy to get a virus while I am fumbling around opening things from people I don't know because we have mutual friends of a trusted friend suggested them....I think I am out of there. Anyone know how to deactivate on FB?? I may just stay so I can see pics of my son... |

I've had people I haven't seen for 30 years find me on FB, I love it. Plus I get to embarras my sons, that's fun too. : )
