So, do you put up a profile picture based on what others like, or the one that you like the best?
Let's say you do a research and you get a good idea about which picture would be the best, even others encourage you to use that particular one. Or instead, you choose something else, because you identify yourself with it, and "to hell with what others like" , you like this one better, because when you browse the forum you don't mind seeing your profile with that picture"? |

I put up ones that I think represent me the most.
Like this pic for instance. It shows that I do drink, that I am not above cheap wine, and that it appears I can handle my alcohol. |

I'll try to use something a little out of the ordinary, something a little artistic, because that's the kind of person I'd like to meet. It hasn't worked, though. I may go back to a picture of a llama or Bob Saget.

I put up the ones I like, And I like to change them periodically, Just to show my personality. But I have been known to change it by request sometimes.

Hmmm i try and keep pictures that are further away, every now and then i will put a closer one if someone askes, but i dont like close up pictures,
And I try and put up ones that I dont have to huge a smile as there is just to much teeth showing when i smile

If I didn't like a picture, I wouldn't put it up. So yes, I put up the ones I like.

Well,I finally put up a fresh one..It is 3 days old.
It represents me most.  although,so does the Clown  |

Before I post a pic I put it on a rating site and see what others think. I only post pics that get high ratings. I may post a pic that says something about my life though. For a while I had a pic of myself water skiing.
I do research to learn what kind of pics will do well and have pics taken that fit in with what I learn. |

I do not like any of the pics of me but I try to make sure they are at least recent enough that they still look like the guy in the mirror here...
