I really don't like referring to Doc as my landlord because he is more like a grandfather to me! He and his daughter that live here are hands down the best people I have met in my 5 yrs here in Aggieland.
Tragically, his son committed suicide last night and they are headed to Abilene to take care of final things so I am holding down the farm and praying they stay safe and have the strength they need now to endure this!

They are such sweet people...called & asked me if I wouldn't mind eating the venison they had thawed out for dinner so it didn't go bad & I had venison burritos for dinner! I'm gonna cook a nice dinner for them when they get back and get a card for all the boarders to sign. One couple has had horses out here for over 30 years now. |

Prayers sent for Doc... I can't imagine what he's going through but I hope he makes it through.. I've dealt with close calls with my brother and son, it's very tough...
