You've been watching too many romance movies. It sounds like you've built a fantasy relationship in your mind and you are chasing that. It's much like how people will build up this perfect person in their mind and try to chase that in real life. It's not something you'll find out here, because you created it in your own head.

You are still very young...give it a minute and just let it happen naturally...it will when the time is right for you...hang in there...you've got a long life and a lot of living to do...relax and have fun

Hmmmm, maybe take your time with your next relationship. It's the only sure way to get to know someone. As for clingy women, why exactly do you want one? A woman could love you anyway, whether their clingy or not. I just go about life not expecting anything. It definitely helps. The movies have done a good job at reeling you in it seems.

It is common, when you are young and just beginning to date, to become caught up in the initial excitement of a new romance. The fantasy of your dream romance seems within your grasp, and occupies all your thoughts. You start trying to push towards that dream, rushing ahead with the excitement.

Then reality comes crashing back in.

When the initial excitement fades, when the proverbial honeymoon is over, that's when it is time to bunker down, and either begin working towards a real relationship, or just part ways. For the young and new to dating, it is often the latter that happens. Eventually experience teaches most of us lessons of this mistake. Hence we improve our dating and relationship skills over time.

Part of finding what you want, of creating that dream relationship, is to be realistic from the very beginning. Don't get carried away. Be reasonable, and take things slow. You actually have to work at keeping things interesting without trying to do too much. Most people do not fall in love overnight. In fact, it may take some people several weeks to fall in love with a person they are dating.

Oh yeah at least i can dream.. i want that perfect ending, getting married and having kids n all that im the only one left out of my entire family ( counsins etc) who hasn't done anything and im the oldest.. it sucks.. but i got the right to be picky. I think everyone shouldnt settle for just anyone everyone desevers the best

Nothing wrong with being picky. I am too....hence 40 years old and never married. After a few things went wrong when I was younger, I had a hard time finding anyone that I really was interested. And then life got messed up, and I stopped dating for a while.

Just realize that being picky also means it will take longer for you to find anything that lasts more than a few months. Don't let it discourage you. Take the good, learn, and move on. Part of it is often learning that what we want isn't necessarily what we thought we wanted.
