I'm curious for other opinions.
I've always had a better time with average women. They seemed less careful about getting mussed-up by rain, snow or wind and less preoccupied with themselves and how they 'look perfect'.

I've dated a vast scale in my life. From women that were 4'10" tall and 85 lbs to 5'9" women that weighed over 300 lbs in every hair style and colour.

What is your experience with this?

I'll elaborate more when i get the chance...

I'm a HOT, AVERAGE WOMAN. LOL!! Now what to do???

And, alternately... let's hear from the women. Do you prefer HOT looking men or average, beer belly, ear-and nose-growing men?
I find the average a tad high maintenance myself!! Trying to get them to belch in private and trim those hairs and wear something other than sandals and white socks is SO TIRING!!! LOL

This is kind of hard for me to answer because a lot depends on who is determining the hotitude.

Generally speaking, the ones I was involved with, the ones I considered physically attractive, did not see themselves as being particularly attractive. I suppose this reflects the fact that I'm never attracted to the ones I'm "supposed" to be attracted to. The ones I think are stunning are always the ones everybody else says, "What could you possibly see in her?"

From that perspective, as far as the "attractive vs. average" issue is concerned, I can't say I ever really noticed any difference in terms of who worried about snow or rain or makeup or swarms of locusts, etc.

Mostly everyone I've ever been with was either 5'0" or 5'8" and there was a wide (literally) range of body types....

hotness is in the eye of the beholder

and a person's physical attractiveness has NOTHING to do with their personality

that's like saying all cute guys are azzholes and we know that's not true

I'm going to keep being attractive just to word off simple minded men who think that it has ANYTHING to so with my personality -HAflowerforyou

I would think you would be more paranoid with the hot women because you would always be worried about the law coming to get them. But with the average women you could relax more and have more fun.

Why does it have to be one or the other? What's hot to you may be average to someone else. What's average to you may be hot to someone else.

I like em hot. They are more confident. Doesn't mean that they are more easy going but, I like what I like. I have only dated a couple of plain women. They were nice.

I wish that all the ladies were pies on a shelf.
And I was a baker; I would eat them all myself.

Well, I've been out with hot and not fun and average and not fun. And I've also dated hot and fun and average and fun.

Hotness is an attribute of attractiveness, not character

I think character is a better indication of the level of 'fun' we have with people

there are people who are HOT without trying or feeling a 'need' to be hot

and there are those whose IDENTITY is tied up with 'being hot' and more likely to focus most of their energy to maintaining their IDENTITY as a 'hot one'

..I doubt the latter is fun to be with because I doubt they can truly put their focus on others for very long,,,,,

To me; looks are irrelevant as long as I enjoy his company. Thank goodness I have the wisdom to see that.

I recommend you collect more data.

I just don't assume one or the other will be more fun.

I have to agree with you Navy girl "looks are irrelevant as long as I enjoy his company." Everybody has something special about them, and I feel this is what make one person attractive to another.

I Have dated a few 'hot' guys, and some 'average' ones (asthetically speaking)

I didnt find a difference in the level of 'fun',,,,

Well, to start off, I took a vow as a teenager to never date anyone prettier than I am. rofl rofl rofl

Seriously though, none of the guys I have dated would necessarily be considered "hot", so I can't really say. They were all guys I liked as persons. I'm actually attracted more to average types and I love a guy with a little bit of weight on him ... more cuddly. winking
