 “Wayne” 06/24/1936 10/20/2011 God has gained another Angel today. We stood by your bed to pray. Hoping you would feel our love. Refusing to leave till you were with God above. Remembering things you did for us through the years. As you stood beside us wiping away the tears. Never did you fail to be there when we needed you. With a helping hand to see us through. You were there when we stumbled and fell. With your kind words telling us we could excel. No matter what we asked of you. You were always right there to ensure. That we were taken care of in every way. Even when we tended to stray. You listened, then spoke in a soft voice. Reminding us that it was up to us to make a choice. You never doubted what we could do or be. In your eyes all you could ever see. Was the future that we held within our reach. With out stretched arms you were there to teach. Within our hearts you will always remain. We love you and will miss you deeply Wayne. We know that you will be watching us from heaven above. For there is nothing like a grandpa’s love.
