LOL I'm not excited I am supposed to leave for America tomorrow, but our airport is on lockdown from 3 to 7, lucky I dont fly till later and the highway I live on is shut for the same time as airforce one lands across the street, so i have to pick the munchkins up early as the road to their school is also closed as airforce one flys over it to land..

I just found it interesting that a huge country would want to come to ours to train.

Is your climate and/or terrain similar to where the US are currently in a conflict?

Yep it's hot and steamy here..Plus we have the Austrlian Army Navy and airforce here.

We also have lots of wargames, since we are so remote.

It just seems like a lot of effort to establish a permanent base, when they have always been able to use ours.

SHHHHHHHHH Dont tell everyone, 20 million is way to many, I think we have 6 cities with over 1 000 000 people and most of our population are in those 6 so hopefully they will stay there and not bother heading out bush. And we dont want unemployed without they want to be employed then we will take them as we cant get workers where we live, we bring a lot of people from overseas to work here.

If some marines were here it would be hot a steamy here too. As it happens with the cost of heating I am wearing four layers and a wooly hat and cuddling a hot water bottle instead of a US Marine!

During the two 'Great Wars', Australia proved to be great alliance.

Now, whether it's just media propaganda, directed misinformation, or closer to fact, it seems the powers that be are scutinizing China's behavior and with a foe like China and the push from the middle east to abandon our military presence there, it certainly seems logical to re-build strong alliances with a long history of success. That would be Australia.

The whole world needs to be on guard and pay attention to what every nation's ruling class is doing and saying. We should never allow another 'Great War' and we should be ending wars that exist.

Every war, at this point, is a threat to all of humanity and we (those whom are ruled) should be united against entering into such bitter action.

Just my opinion.
