Get shoved and pushed around by a bunch of women who outweigh me as they are in a mindless shopping friendzy, and would rather me be dead than in thier way. Then go stand my skinny butt in line for god knows how long just to try to fight my way back out to my car.

I got up at 4 this morning and drove my son to his job at the local Outlet Mall (if he drove his car he had to park in a remote parking garage and wait for a shuttle bus). I dropped him off by 5:30. The huge parking lot was full. As a went to pull out to leave, I saw an empty parking spot 3 spaces from the store. I resisted the temptation to pull in and I came home. Credit card with a zero balance. I will go back at 6PM to pick him up. That is as close to shopping as I am gettng today.

Now tomorrow may be a different story since then I can use his 40% discount on top of the store's promotions. That may be too hard to resist!

No thanks! I'll pass on the mindless shopping extravaganza. I am not that keen on Christmas anyway.

CNN just talked about a woman at a mall in North Carolina who pepper sprayed people in line so she could get ahead of them.
She got her stuff payed for and out of there before the cops showed up.

Not me, nu-uh, no way, no how. My family used to drag me to the mall on BLACK FRIDAY'S when I was younger. I swore when I got older, they wouldn't ever get me there again.

If I owned a store...I would do it.

The biggest opportunity for cash and credit influx for the year. Plus, drop a crap load of inventory before end of year commercial inventory taxation.

Why after ThanksGiving?...cause most of the population has the day off and have already sat around the house stuffing thier faces all yesterday and are kind of itching to get out of the house. Plus, Christmas is coming very soon and this can knock out a big chunk of that list pretty cheap.

It makes perfect economic sense from both sides. I am kinda suprized they don't do it more often.
