Why would you want to write to a death row inmate?

So why are you worried if the guy kills you? It's not wrong unless God says it's wrong and since God isn't saying anything, it must be okay with him.

If "only god can judge" is true, then you can't consider him killing you to be bad or good. It's neutral until God judges. Of course, only God can judge if your life is worth living, so you don't even know that.

I'm showing you that your statement that "only God can judge" is absurd by showing you where that argument leads. Jesus taught his followers to make fair judgments, not no judgments. In the Old Testament, God setup courts of law and Judges to rule over Israel, so the Legal system has God's stamp of approval.

As for your original question: It's probably never happened, a google search returned no hits. Regardless, it's batty to become involved on an emotional level with a man who is behind bars and condemned to death.

Hoo... a good looking woman on this site...?

Baby, I'm a condemned man. I'm sitting here in my jail cell I call life, and waiting for the inevitable. (Evian water IS evitable, and Evi or Eva is too... talking (third or fifth post) about a man dropped on his head way out in left field -- I am making less and less sense, but don't worry, baby, I'm fully aware of that, although I can't say with nearly that much assurrance that I'm in control of the situation.)

So much for being hotttt.

BTW, I never looked at your profile. I take Spider's word for it that you are hotttt. A man of the Book will never utter untruths. I think that's actually true. At least not deliberately and not to his or her knowledge. Which is not much to ask, seeing that he believes in a book written several thousand years ago... talk about old news and old truths.

And it is not true only God can judge... if it was true, then that part of our free will which depends on our judgment would be rendered unfunctional. A teacher, for instance, could not grade her students, and doctors could not establish diagnoses. Nobody could tell good from bad, wicked from viruoso, sky from earth, black from white, jokes from serious, a from b, thee from me.

I think the odds of death row inmates getting out are very slim to begin with (but not impossible)

I think we have a better chance of a past cheater cheating again than we do a killer on death row coming to visit us

although I suppose he could send someone else or chat us up to someone who is getting out,,,scared scared

Then how would OP know that the
correspondent did not get her
letter because he moved residence?

This thing can get tricky.

You can never go wrong (you, OP,
or you, Soufiehere) if you say,
in any situation, "it is more
complicated than that."

Everybody gets out. Eventually.

"noone here gets... out alive" Jim Morrison (he proved this, too, by his own example)

Well, we've got about 3200 death row inmates right now....I would say 1 in 320,000,000,000. Ya gotta figure, most that break out won't come to your house. Prolly 4 out of 5 that came to your house would kill you. The Fifth guy, well... he'd prolly let you live.

I think only about 100 per year escape from fed prisons (let alone death row) so, I'd say it's HIGHLY slim he'd escape, let alone come to kill you. Well, unless you REALLY pizzed him off. Then again, Ted Bundy escaped twice in one year. But, if you'd purposely aggravate him enough that he'd WANT to escape and come kill you (similar to poking a lion with a stick, just cause you can), well, you'd probably have it coming......

Yeah... defi, defi, definitely. The op is hottt, and the inmate is deprived. If he is not, then he has had too many "in" mates in prison. Either way, a change of waters always adds some spice to the cougars, wolves and sharks. (Mud-sharks.) Spice, did I say? for a tiger, it's catnip.
