He is a strange one. Though, he is much more acceptable than Grinch, Sanatorium, and the Phony Paul-who has no desire to be Prez. Just likes the fame, noteriety and the MONEY he rakes in.

I say that about R. Paul because when he was asked during a National Interview if he could see himself as President...he laughed...and said "No". He runs everytime...collects a bunch of cash and then falls back into Congress...He says all the things People want to hear...but has yet to deliver...that's all I'm sayin...

Worst group of candidates ever.

It's looking like Obama is headed for an easy re-election.

Truth is, people often change their minds as their knowledge and awareness increase. What do you want - a leader who is inflexible? Who can't admit when he's wrong? Who clings to a view even when he's come to personally disagree with it? That's the kind of insincerity endemic to towing the party line. Nobody is right all the time. People make mistakes. The spin is about appearance, not depth.

I'm not looking to defend Romney. "Flip-flopping" is just one of the many negative cards that politicians constantly play during an election. It's all about manipulating the opinion of those who accept face value.

In politics, business, and media, catch-phrases are used to convey a negative message without having to explain or provide evidence. The phrase sticks in the mind of the public like a subliminal message. Repetition reinforces the negative image until it becomes accepted.

What we should all do is organize a movement to write in the name of a non-candidate, submitting a petition for registration where necessary. If a write-in candidate actually won, or at least had a very strong 3rd place showing, it would shake up the political landscape quite a bit. Especially if the same were done for Congressional elections too. In today's age of communication, this is much easier to accomplish than in the past. A write-in ballot can only have an impact with a organized movement behind it.

If you don't like the candidates or the nomination process, then break away from the system to create an alternative.

I agree, not much to choose from. But don't for one second think Obama will have a grand ol' time during this. MSM might hint of it; however, approval ratings show something else entirely. Take off the Obama flavored propaganda glasses!

I don't think Obama has a snow balls chance in hell of getting re elected...He will soon become number thirteen on the one term president roster ...thank you Gud....

And even the choices we are being given are the lesser of two evils....

Our government will never change so long as we stick to the two-party system for selecting candidates.

Furthermore, primaries should be set up so that it is more friendly to unaffiliated voters. As it is now, independents can vote in primaries only if they temporarily register with a party. This means they can only vote in the primaries of one party per election year. In caucuses, party affiliation does not matter - any affiliation can vote for any candidate. However, there is usually a smaller time window for voting which often excludes the majority of voters from taking part.

Basically, in the selection process, more people who are involved, the more likely a better quality of candidate will come forward. The fewer who participate, the fewer people the selection process needs to satisfy.

Bottom line: MAKE YOUR VOICE HEARD.

Get involved. Take back the system, then change the system, BUT don't just sit outside the system wondering how it got so messed up.

The system belongs to those who are most active within it. It's that simple.

That video has Ron Paul's smell all over it. LOL I just finished watching it and I was right, it was a Ron Paul attack ad.

The Paulbots think they are so cute with all these attacks and I am just waiting to see the Obama Machine unleash their own attacks on Paul, who is in way over his head and Obama will just make him look not just like a loon but also the moro he really is.

Yup. Honestly I will take anyone(Except for the Loon Ron Paul) right now who makes it to the general election because we have to get Obama out of office.

He is nothing other then what they call a perennial candidate. The only reason he is running is to get more exposure for his newsletters. He was making over a million a year in profits but now they are saying with this campaign(that he wont win) he will make 10-15 million a year from the newsletters.

Yup. Unbelievable. The Republican Party had a guaranteed win in this Presidential election but they are running the 6 candidates that can not win.

This happened here in Nevada too. Harry Reid was gone, that was a cake election but Ron Paul and his supporters cost us that election by getting Sharron Angle on the ballot as the Parties nomination.

The voters in Nevada sent an excellent message to Ron Paul in that election(even though he didn't listen to it), the majority of voters in Nevada and the rest of the country just want Ron Paul and his candidates to go away.

You never know, it's not to late for a good candidate to enter the race, which they are saying might happen because the majority of voters are not happy with these candidates at all.
