Well, I am out of the WWII ravaged Warsaw Ghetto as I call it or my condo that was torn up from flood damage and in a very posh hotel in my community which is a vacation town so it's quite nice. Actually construction has not begun but the animals and I were getting sick from dust and mold. Sorry I did not keep on posts I started today. Anyway, the animals and I are sick so please pray we get better. I do have breathing problems. I score off the charts for dust allergies and I also have diminished lung capacity. I lost about 10% of my lung capacity about 7 years ago to pulmonary embolisms. And right now I am also have allergy problems and it's backing into my ear. I am in a very clean hotel now with lots of fresh air and medication so I should be fine. Pray for Vinnie and Darcy too please. Vinnie has allergies and even Darcy started wheezing. I called the insurance company today and raised heck and said enough is enough.

Thanks,

Terri

Good for you on calling insurance. Whenever you call, highly recommend to start a log: whom you spoke with, time. Purpose of call and date to follow up.

I hope you may hire an inspector to check out the process of repair. I was reading that nowadays there is a paint to protect people with asthma and allergies.
Ill keep in my prayers your love ones. Sure! happy

I am really in Ventura. I was saying Camarillo for awhile because I was annoyed with people wanting to vacation at my place in Ventura. Of course, you and Jack ARE special and came come over any time and I will take you on the grand tour. : )

Ventura really is nice. We used to go there on weekends and I vaguely remember some club for teens there.

After high school a couple of the kids were going to UC Santa Barbara and we'd drive up there for the weekend. That's where I did my first beer bong. I think.

I was never into beer. I was always a high Bacardi and diet Coke, high proof Peppermint Schnapps and Peach Bartles and James Girl oh and don't forgot Strawberry Margaritas. And I never paid. LOL.

We were underage drinking. We were happy to have beer.

Actually, I'm not a big drinker and it is the joke of the office that I'm a major lightweight. I enjoy wine and beer and margaritas. But, I get buzzed and then drunk really fast. drinks

Hi Everyone,

Well, the plan seems to be coming together okay. Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers. I am at my folks' doing laundry. I cannot get on Mingle very well from the hotel on my Windows or Linux machines. The wifi there just stinks. It's like one step about dial up. If you need to reach me ask one of my friends for my FB.

Love you all and miss our banter.

I was privvy because of who I knew to get into some pretty exclusive parties. I never paid for alcohol until after I got married and it became inappropriate for men to buy me alcohol other than my husband. LOL.

My apartment is a go. I called a guy I know who own U Call We Haul and got rid of over 50% of my stuff. I was happy because I had to get rid of a bunch of furniture and he just got an apartment and had nothing so he was thrilled. I have the movers booked. Now, if the gods of realty would just shine down upon me and the condo would sell soon. How happy I would be. It's been on the market less than 72 hours and has been viewed about 10 times including by a broker who snatches up properties in my my complex as my unit would rent for $1800 after repaired. So life is good.

Oh, great news for sure. I hope everyone is well and cheerful. Does that all mean you wont be moving back in ever? Are you looking for a new place altogether?

No, my HOA alone was $400. While I owned the condo, I am sick of Ventura. I am sick of guys wanting to move into my condo in Ventura as a motive for dating me. I am sick of living in the condo that was an engagement present to my from my ex. He literally said when we were engaged "pick any place within driving distance of my work, and it's yours". It was hard for me to live there. Also in Ventura, I am very much still looked at "Michael's wife" by the community. I grew up in the desert. I am used to it. And I have had enough of no definite seasons. My sources of income including my writing are not dependent at all on location. My new apartment complex even has a gym. I am worried about the dog. Those service master guys were way over generous with their use of boxes and packing materials. It's going to be insane to move and unpack even with everything I got rid of. I am also sick of owning. Property taxes and insurance, etc. were killing me in such an expensive area. And 1100 square feet for one person is too much and also those are the stairs that I fell down and got the DVT which turned into PE and why I only have about 85% to 90% lung capacity now. I am happy with the apartment I chose. It's close to some family friends that are like brothers (big shock I know).

Yes and yet again, it looks like I will have a good friend to drink diet Coke with in the baby section of the food court at Chuck E. Cheese (no sound system) and talk to while we pray to God that her kids wildly spend their $20 worth of tokens unlike my god son, Soma, who carefully calculates his odds of winning each game, etc. and plays for 7 hours and comes home with $4 worth plastic frogs when I could have bought him a gross for $10 on OTC.

No, no, no!! Chuck E. Cheese is Hell. Literally. That's where you go when you die if you were consistently mean in the Mingle forums.

I have every other weekend without kids. That's when we can have fun. bigsmile
