There are some bad movies that are far more entertaining than the so called good movies.

Personally I've gotten far more enjoyment out of films like Creature from the Hillbilly Lagoon and I Spit Chew On Your Grave over mainstream horror like Paranormal Activity, Jennifer's Body, Insidious.

And considering the ridiculous ticket prices, I'd rather use the money towards buying a DVD or Blu-Ray. The last movie I paid to go see in the theater was a re release of Battle Royale.

Who could ever forget Arnold Schwarzenegger's memorable lines...

"Ice to see you!"
"Let's kick some ice."
"Stay cool, Birdboy."

Oh, I agree! There's only a few that I truly disliked and didn't watch. Most of them are so funny dumb that I'm rolling!

The Thing prequel - that was soooo bad. All the CGI in the world could not save this one. Love the original though!

the first twilight movie and the blair witch project

the acting was painfully unnatural and the scenes were monotonous and had far too many overdramatic silences and effects

Agreed. I couldn't bear the full effect of "Twilight". Had to shut it off about halfway through. And it took me about four tries to actually make it all the way through "Blair Witch". I kept falling asleep.

I liked The Blair Witch Project(and its sequel)...now Paranormal Activity...now that was painful.

I actually saw Paranormal Activity in the theater. Hands down...worst theater experience of my life. An hour & a half of absolutely NOTHING going on. Then the big "shocker" of the last ten minutes. I was SO glad that someone gave us free tickets, or I would have asked for my money back.

The Witchcraft series, there's 13 films in the franchise! I haven't watched them all, but from the ones I have seen, yeesh.

Both Fantastic Four movies. This was *MY* comic book growing up. Seeing these movies made me want to stand up in the theater and boo.

Looks like it would have been one of those you "Keep watching because you can't believe it's *THAT* bad" types. At least they tried to get the characters personalities right in this one. laugh laugh

Hate is a very strong word, but I do 9/10 times "dislike" the style, feel, look and pace of anything made by Schumacher or Bruckheimer...

They had to make that terrible version of the movie, so that they could hold onto the movie rights. If you have movie rights and you don't use them within a certain period of time, you lose them. I don't understand it fully, but that is the story I heard.
