From The Opening Post
DeCarlo then described what happened after the spies were dragged from their van. “When we removed them, one of the guys that was rather chatty said: ‘We’re not your enemy, we’re your friend. Our enemies are your enemies,’” DeCarlo said. “At that point they said they were from Israel. They kept saying, ‘Hey, we’re on your side.’” |

I don't care what Israel does, I just want America to stop sending them so much American tax dollars and to stop sending our troops to the middle east. honest reply... so should we stop sending the middle east countries money too? We send Israel a lot more money than any of the others. How about just be more fair? almost 5 times as much... not including the weapons we give them also... but they are surrounded by haters, and i really don't know what the stipulations that are involved when they were given the land... maybe we are under some sort of obligation to help them as a new country? That they are "surrounded by haters" is no reason to give them our money. They are no different or better than anyone else. i realize that you don't see the need to help people that need it, but people that ran the country after WW2 saw it a little differently. they still need help, because the muslims want to see the death of all jews. so I really don't mind them getting the money and help, they deserve it. So much that America refused to let the Jews flee to America when they most needed to. Millions died because America would not let them come here. They had their 'excuses." ..But the plan of Zionism worldwide was to make any place in the world dangerous and unwelcome for Jews so they would eventually have to go to Israel. Israel needs Jews in order to increase the Jewish population in order to be a state. And why do you suppose they want Jews to go to Israel? Some people say that someone is trying to fulfill a prophecy for the end of the world. |

Trying to link Mossad to 9/11, based on an article from a source with ties to racist and white supremicist groups (that's convincing! N.B. sarcasm, not satire this time). Wasn't it Bush & Cheney yesterday? Who will it be next week? ![]() ![]() They have to be trolling. Surely, they can't be this dense? ![]() I know it may have come across as funny, but I'm serious. I feel I'm debating with caricatures, or adopted personae as opposed to real people and real opinions. Like some elaborate wind-up. Every nation has a vested interest in this issue. Does Australia even have any troops dieing over there?
Yes, Afghanistan & Iraq. The Coalition of the Willing, ever heard of it? ![]() |

do you have a reference that America didn't let the Jews come here?
Sure. History. Although thousands of Jews had been admitted into the United States under the combined German-Austrian quota from 1938–1941, the US did not pursue an organized and specific rescue policy for Jewish victims of Nazi Germany until early 1944. While some American activists sincerely intended to assist refugees, serious obstacles to any relaxation of US immigration quotas included public opposition to immigration during a time of economic depression, xenophobia, and antisemitic feelings in both the general public and among some key government officials. Once the United States entered World War II, the State Department practiced stricter immigration policies out of fear that refugees could be blackmailed into working as agents for Germany. It was not until January 1944 that President Franklin D. Roosevelt, under pressure from officials in his own government and an American Jewish community then fully aware of the extent of mass murder, took action to rescue European Jews. Following discussions with Treasury Department officials, he established the War Refugee Board (WRB) to facilitate the rescue of imperiled refugees. With the assistance of the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee and the World Jewish Congress, as well as resistance organizations in German-occupied Europe, the WRB helped to rescue many thousands of Jews in Hungary, Romania, and elsewhere in Europe. In April 1944, Roosevelt also directed that Fort Ontario, New York, become a free port for refugees. However, only a few thousand refugees were allowed there and they were from liberated areas, not from Nazi-occupied areas. They were in no imminent danger of deportation to killing centers in German-occupied Poland. Ultimately, Allied victory brought an end to Nazi terror in Europe and to the war in the Pacific. However, liberated Jews, suffering from illness and exhaustion, emerged from concentration camps and hiding places to discover a world which had no place for them. Bereft of home and family and reluctant to return to their prewar homelands, these Jewish displaced persons (DPs) were joined in a matter of months by more than 150,000 other Jews fleeing fierce antisemitism in Poland, Hungary, Romania, and the Soviet Union. Most sought to begin a new life outside Europe. Palestine was the most favored destination of Jewish Holocaust survivors, followed by the United States. Immigration restrictions were still in effect in the United States after the war, and legislation to expedite the admission of Jewish DPs was slow in coming. So? That doesn't mean that the US didn't allow Jews to escape from Nazi Getrmany. The allies were not even sure what happened to the Jews until the liberation of the first camps in (guess when?) 1944.

So? That doesn't mean that the US didn't allow Jews to escape from Nazi Getrmany. The allies were not even sure what happened to the Jews until the liberation of the first camps in (guess when?) 1944. Congressional action was needed before existing immigration quotas could be increased. In 1948, following intense lobbying by the American Jewish community, Congress passed legislation to admit 400,000 DPs to the United States. Nearly 80,000 of these, or about 20 percent, were Jewish DPs. The rest were Christians from Eastern Europe and the Baltics, many of whom had been forced laborers in Germany. The entry requirements favored agricultural laborers to such an extent, however, that President Truman called the law "flagrantly discriminatory against Jews." Congress amended the law in 1950, but by that time most of the Jewish DPs in Europe had gone to the newly established state of Israel (founded on May 14, 1948). |

Crystal ball stuff? a)The policy of the 'Final Solution' was not implemented until 1942. The camps were discovered by the invading allies in 1944. b). "Millions" didn't apply for entry into the US anyway. c). Immigration quotas are enforced by most nations. Jewish immigration from Europe was only possible up to 1940, after which, Fortress Europe was established, thereafter, what was going on inside Europe was largely unknown to the allies. Your initial statement is an anachronism at best.. |

Your initial statement is an anachronism at best.. The Holocaust most certainly could have been prevented. The number of Jews that were killed has been disputed for quite a while. I think the official number is 6 million. People who saved Jews during world war 2: http://www.listal.com/list/nazi-officers-saved-jews America certainly could have done more to help. ****************************************************************** How Bush's grandfather helped Hitler's rise to power Rumours of a link between the US first family and the Nazi war machine have circulated for decades.
