Foreign troops now train on our soil in crowd control ... WHY?.... because gov't does not trust it's own military to act against a unified citizenry in the event of a revolution against their tyranny!

And we label other countries "Third World"! slaphead

I agree. And we must do something about this.

Like maybe try to soil ourselves less... then the foreign troops would have no leg to stand in.

I mean, if we pull the soil away from under their feet, then the foreign troops can't step in it, can they?

That's our ticket, I say.

In the struggle between political factions, republicans vs. democrats, Conservatives vs. liberals, we sometimes wonder what side we should take if worst comes to worse ---- if any.

In the event of a civil war, what side do we take or do we just hide in our huts and keep our heads down until someone wins, then pledge our allegiance to the winner and hand over our taxes to them?

Do both sides want to enslave us or are we kidding ourselves about there even being two sides?

Who wants freedom and maybe anarchy?

Who wants control and dictatorship?

Where do we, and how do we choose? How do we find a balance?

Will they murder our leaders?

Why have we given control of our food, gas, transportation and energy over to the government?

Will we be able to survive without getting permission and paying homage to our over lords, the government?

Will they allow us to trade and barter when money becomes worthless?

The musical group of the sixties, "The Who", has created a two-line answer to these questions:

"Meet the new boss... same as the old boss."

Everything else is a footnote to the wisdom of this statement, when we consider any class- or political strife or struggle.

The quoted line is so true, that it works on any level: International high diplomacy and wars, to national affairs, to company policy, to being micro-managed, to being married over and over again, to being pushed from foster home to foster home.

I keep remembering what then President Eisenhour said " beware of the Military Industrial Complex". I think he was trying to tell us something.
