I know we all know certain LDRs that are working out but in general, do you think they work or they are more the exception rather than the rule? I have batted around a few but never got really serious about them. Though they did inspire bad poetry a lot if that is what you call what I write. The latest of which are based on two guys I actually dated in real life. Well dated one and lived with the other. But in general, do you think and LDR is as good as a relationship based in the same town?

If it's meant to be, it will be. If not, it won't be. It really is that simple. The thing is we can make it meant to be or not, depending on the amount of effort we are willing to put into it.

Every relationship takes effort. LDRs can last and turn into a permanent relationship, it just takes more effort to reach that point.

At the moment, I have a huge crush on a guy who lives in the same country as me, except I live in the North-East of England, and he lives in the South-East of England. This is why I want to move to Chelsea. That's where he lives. I may never end up with him, but at least I'll have tried flirting with him all the same. I don't want to end up wondering "What if?", by the time I'm old.
