well I guess power is interchangeable at any given time because we women know the power of our (special thing) so we can often times get our men to do as we say lol......but all in all its interchangeable

Does it really depend on whether you're a man or a woman? I think both are equally responsible. It takes two, never one. I'm never the type who would sleep with a guy early on in the relationship. As i like to get a sense of who he is first. If he has no morals, no self-respect, or respect for others too, then I am gone in a flash. I'm not easy. And I sure hope it shows. laugh :)

I still stand by what my grandma told me: "Whoever cares the least controls everything."

Hi beautiful !waving Your grandma is probably right, but there is more...In an unhealthy relationship, whoever cares the least controls the power card....

In a healthy relationship I believe two things can happen...At times, an equal balance of power is shared by the couple and at times there is an agreeable shift of power from one to the other in order to accomodate varying circumstances throughout the course of the relationship......The second is called teamwork:smile:

waving Rarely is teamwork ever an option. But in some cases, very seldom ones its true. My grandparents for example, they give me hope. I am just like my gran in a lot of ways. She had a lot of backbone and believed in telling the truth over pretty lies. She believed relationships could work if both parties want the same things. My Grandfather still loves her to this day because of it.
