Why do nice guys always finish last? I have a few female friends and they all say the same thing, I'm 'amazing, sweet, kind, wonderful etc' so why do gils go for the bad boys instead. Discuss.

Real nice guys don't finish last. Those who complain about finishing last and women going for others are the ones who finish last.

As singmesweet said, truly nice guys (and girls) don't finish last. When they find the right person, one that appreciates all that they are, and aren't, and reciprocates...they finish first.

The girls might, but most women don't. That's bull about nice guys finishing last. The ones who finish last are the ones who let themselves finish that way. There's loads of women who go for nice guys.

Nice guys finish last because it's the polite thing to do. Girls don't want "Nice Guys" or Bad boys. They want men. They most prefer a man that knows how to properly treat a woman. It's really not rocket science.

usually when a guy asks a woman "why do nice guys finish last" what they are really saying is "why do you not believe my lies"

...what blue and totage said. I actually have a true "nice guy", and I love and appreciate him and everything he does...AND...vice versa. Someone can be both "nice", and "bad", but they have to be a good and genuine person to begin with. That's the only way it's going to work...you can't just SAY you're nice, you have to show it.

maybe i have plenty of guy friends who think being nice is GOOD enough its not you have to approach a woman & take a chance my nice guy buddies SEEM affraid to make a girl laugh DRIVES me crazy, i gotta basiclly lock em in a room to get em to speak HAHA.. it's like hanging with the "40 old virgin" ..

I too haven't learned how to avoid the (friend zone) I'm a nice guy. Can't help it, don't want to. Was hoping to not have that worry joining a site. We'll just have to see.
