We may fit in there :-)
My cats go crazy wonderful when they see
another animal, they are clueless having
always been inside.
I took them out, Fred ran right to a big
dog and wanted to play..the dog was
really confused :-)

Well I just really think this whole thing is fantastic.
I am so happy for you and krupa and your furry blended family.flowerforyou

Oh yes, I plan on getting her looked at next chance I get.

Awesome kittens you got there soufie. :)

aww thats great.I might be a little paranoid because I took my dogs to the vet for what I thought might be a stupid reason but wanted to make sure for my own peace of mind.
my little dog seemed to be drinking more than usual ,I noticed it on a Thursday, had him in the vet by Mon. and it turned out he was a severe Diabetic. The vet said usually by the time people get them in they have already suffered kidney and liver damage. He didn't thank Goodness. He is on insulin injections twice a day and needs a very strict feeding schedule ,but he is fine.

I noticed our Golden Retriever's tail was getting thinner, took him to the Vet thinking he would say it was old age..he is 11, but he had very low thyroid so he is on meds.Who would have thought a thinning tail meant low thyroid?
they both had regular checkups at least once a year.
So I am happy you are taking your baby just to be safe. flowerforyou

yes, animals do dream. we're animals and we dream.

usually, i see my cat move his paws while he's asleep. he probably dreams about kneading a soft blanket or something. sometimes he does get nightmares and he wakes up violently by jumping and running away somewhere in my apartment. if i go looking for him he'll come out and see me and sit on my lap. if i don't seek him out, he'll come out from hiding and come over to sit under my desk (his safety spot). when he's content, he'll fart a lot while he sleeps close to me. i guess farting is his way of showing me he's relaxed.

Soufie, those are really just impossibly cute.

My dog used to dream he was chasing things, with little yips and running legs, so I have no trouble believing an animal could have a nightmare.

my dog used to have a weird nightmare.not sure what it was of but she would be sound asleep and then raise up and howl and it would sound exactly like a storm siren.it definitely freaked me out.i would have to reach over and shake her and tell her "Cassie you had a nightmare" .she would look at me strange and then lay back down and go to sleep spock

So I was minding my own business strumming my guitar learning a new song. My cat was asleep not even two feet away from me on my bed. All of a sudden, she started twitching violently and then woke up even more violently. Without hesitation, she jumped in my chest since the guitar was occupying my lap still twitching and staring at me with her scared look. Now she is purring and won't let go of me.

Am I wrong to believe my kitten just had a nightmare? (she may be almost 10 years old, but she still thinks she is 10 days old)

Maybe she didn't like you Playing on your guitar.laugh
