Its not the presidents wife's job to do anything but be his wife, there is nothing wrong with volunteering for her country as others have done. Uh, the position of First Lady has nothing to do with that person's marital status. A woman doesn't have to be married to the President in order to be the First Lady. From Wikipedia: The position of the First Lady is not an elected one, carries no official duties, and receives no salary. Nonetheless, first ladies have held a highly visible position in U.S. government. The role of the First Lady has evolved over the centuries. She is, first and foremost, the hostess of the White House. She organizes and attends official ceremonies and functions of state either along with, or in place of, the president.

Let me put this to bed now! I looked it up and Michelle Obama was NOT barred from practice. All of that is a myth. She voluntarily put herself in a position of non operation temporarily. It is legal. Look it up on Snopes and other sites.

Andy, this entire thread is nothing more than one person's desperate attempt to find something to criticize President and Mrs. Obama for. Even the title of this thread speaks volumes. The President's middle name isn't relevant to his presidency, and yet his middle name is used as if it were somehow important. Well, it isn't. I have never kept secret my desire for President Obama to lose in the upcoming presidential election. Yet, I am opposed to the character attacks being made against him and his wife. |

Besides, he and meeshelle give the world plenty to laugh about. Now, why didn't she go with Barry to see the muslim king? Why the secrecy behind why she was disbarred. Or in PC terms, 'on court ordered inactive status'?
