Post here to practise your gifts and calling from God. Romans 8.31,33 If God be for you, who can be against us. Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifies.

Quotes by Adrian Rogers

If we believe what we say we believe then why do we do what we do?
Whatever man does without God, he will fail miserably or succeed even more miserably.
If you marry a child of the devil you'll get the devil for a daddy - in - law. ouch
God loves you just the way you are, but He loves you too much to leave you that way.

IDK what my calling is. I've asked many times, but the Lord insists on being elusive about what He wants me to do, so I've given up on trying to figure it out. Now I just live my life the way I choose. If I get to the end I find out it was all wrong, oh well. At least I tried though.

But, I do have a question, if someone could help with this:

What do you do when you can't trust the Lord completely? What do you do when You have taken a leap of faith, but the Lord has failed to catch you? How do you regain your faith and trust the Lord again?

It really depends on what your perception of the leap of faith was. Did God tell you to take that leap? I have never, ever known Him to not be true to His Word.

He did, and the situation I was in was harming my spirit. I did what I had to do, but was left to fend for myself when I needed Him the most. IDK, may be some day I will be able to trust Him again.

I feel more neglected by Him than really lied to or anything like that, it was more that He just wasn't there when I needed Him.

Those He will use He breaks & He breaks & He continually breaks, till all that is left is our dependance on Him. He is the potter, we are but the clay. When my husband died, I lost trust, faith & was broken beyond repair. Trust can come back slowly.

Totage, you simply have to study the Word of God more.
Our God is not a genie in a bottle who caters to our wishes; who follows US as WE lead.

If you decide on doing something that the Lord is not in agreement with,
then you are mistaken if you expect Him to bless your efforts.

We have to read His Word and be familiar with His ways; His will for our life.

Stand on His Word; His promises.

We must be prayerful!

Give God praise and honor,!!!

When we acknowledge who He is

and declare His wonderful sovereignty

and excercise our faith in Him, it pleases Him.

we are showing we have faith in our Awesome Creator.

Father God!!!

we must remain in fellowship with our Creator!

Confess Him as Lord and Savior, before ALL men.

Seek ye first the Kingdom of Heaven and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you.

There are times, as in the story of Job, when He feels so far away & heaven feels like an iron curtain.

See, that's the thing. It wasn't that I was doing what I wanted to do expecting Him to bless me. I was doing what He wanted me to do, simply to show my trust and faith in Him. In the end I just ended up feeling neglected by Him.

Maybe that's it. Maybe I needed to be broken and He is working on it. That maybe what it is.

I was to the point where I was literally dependent on Him, he was all I had.

IDK, maybe I needed my faith to be shaken for some reason. Perhaps He is showing me that I truly do believe in Him and it's not just because of what was instilled in me through my childhood. Because, I've reached the point where many would turn away from Him, yet I still love and have faith in the Lord. I still follow and believe. Seems to be a weaker faith, but perhaps when I heal, it will be stronger than ever.

He is very clever like that.

That's just natural!

Romans Chap3, verse's 21 through 26

His Mercy: He delayed punishment for our sins.
His Justice: There is a steep price for sin. It cannot go unpunished, because He is a "just" God.
His Grace: He paid that price for us, sending His son to the cross for us.

A free gift. Salvation, by simply accepting in faith, that the blood of Christ was shed for us...that no amount of good deeds or good intentions could ever do. (verse's 22-25)
