it is one thing to think and and an other to say

well, i'll tell you, i don't show anything but a hat and i get like 10 emails a day....oh wait i ask for those...geez, only 10? man i'm pathetic.

There is definitely some of that going on, but I think it's far more prevalent on other sites -- in my experience, anyway.

I think what happens is that there are some women who feel that this will give them a better opportunity to be noticed -- and men do it, too, we just had a thread about men who put shirtless pics in their profiles -- without necessarily considering the KIND of attention these pics will generate. More interested in quantity than quality, let's say.

Or maybe they just do it for fun and don't really give a damn what anybody thinks. I don't know. Everybody is different.

And I have actually talked to women who told me that they would use the same pics on every site without even really thinking about the differences between the sites -- so, what might come across as perfectly suitable on a more casual-encounter-sex-oriented site might seem a little garish or desperate on a more friend-oriented site, but they would not really notice the discrepancy until/unless someone pointed it out to them.

I mean, nobody is forcing us to look at these (or any) kinds of pics, or at anyone's profile. As long as they don't violate the rules, then the best thing to do is ignore those profiles and find others that we prefer.

Do those kinds of pictures send a message? Sure, they can. But I wouldn't want anyone telling me I can't use a picture of a llama or a sign or whatever, so, when I see a pic that I find a little too "revealing" for my own personal tastes, I'll just click a button and go on to the next one....

I only have a picture of my face, and for some reason all I've been getting is guys who want to have 'dirty'talking chats. I ignore them of course, but I still hope that is not the norm

ATTENTION....I think thats why they do it...they all want the attention....but unfortunatly they are attracting the wrong kind of attention.........and of course they do complain about it......Now me i dont have the problem in refrence to...but i am a free spirit woman who dont mind talking about sex...or dos and dont...etc...etc....but this in itself has pegged me as a easy bite.....easy notch on the old bedpost.....but little do they know....well you see my dilema.....soooooo what did i do about it....I quit talking about it.....until i felt the relationship was definately headed to add intimacy in it.....well thats my story....Dont complain unless you have a solution.....
