I keep wondering why the UN has not imposed a No flight zone over the Syrian airspace as it did in Libya. 4000 citizens dead and more on a daily basis. Use of heavy weapon and airstrikes on civilian areas and the UN folds it hands and watch. Is it because Syria lacks oil unlike Libya?

can only be done if there is no Veto in the UNSC!
Russia and China would be sure vetoing it!
Besides,Syria does have some Oil!

Syria's main exports include crude oil, refined products, raw cotton, clothing, fruits, and grains. The bulk of Syrian imports are raw materials essential for industry, vehicles, agricultural equipment, and heavy machinery. Earnings from oil exports as well as remittances from Syrian workers are the government's most important sources of foreign exchange

It's all politics. Sadly those in charge would like you to think they are all for human rights, when all they are about is saying what they think people want to hear and having the most power.
It's sad when they pick and choose who to protect from their own governments.
When revolution comes to a country near you will the UN help you?
Only if your pocket book is big enough.
