I never worry about death. I live life as I chose. Enjoy what I can & accept all else. When death comes for me, I will face it, do all I can to avoid it, but in the end if death wins, it will have been a HE!! of a battle. My hope will be that all will remember me, have a huge party & the worst hangover of their life.

Till then I say LIVE.

I wonder how I fit work in sometimes. As it is I have cut down to 20 hours week to fit my social life in. There are still things I want to do and cannot seem tpo find the time. Must go havent had dinner yet.

Retirement will be exciting and a busy schedule. I can travel all over Sydney for $2.50. The tourists pay thousands to come here. SO much to do and see.

I'm almost 71 and I agree with Old Sage...I live everyday to the max and do and go where I want.. I travel as much as my $$ afford me to and enjoy my family..it keeps you young...lol I gave up riding my Harley this summer only because of having 3 surgerys on my left leg I didn't feel safe getting on and off it anymore...Guess now I'll have to find someone that can take me for a ride...lol

I don't think about age much but when I turned 70 in 2012, it was a hard one...took me a little while to adjust..lol I just hope I never have to slow down and many people I meet think I am much younger.. I think I am younger inside, its the outside I have to worry about! laugh

I hate being my age and would love to be about 20 years younger. There are just so many more opportunities for younger people.

In answer to your first query...NO!..To have been afraid of my age after 50 would have meant that i would have been living in fear for the past 21 years, and that would've been totally unacceptable...

Further, if age is a great factor of life, as you say, then ATTITUDE is an even greater factor, as so aptly pointed out by both oldsage and mssilverfox.

I'm 71, and my life is STILL what i make of it...

I don't like the creak in my bones.
