good luck with this idea

zoning laws (you know where thy make rules on how and what you can do with the land you rent from the govt*1

most here have a min. sq ft and it is 1200sqft where i grew up and it may have grown since then and it has to have a lot size of at least 3 acres

once you have to pay a tribute (such as a property tax)that makes the payee the lord*3 of the land thus a title of nobility

*1[oh you think you own it try not paying your illegal property tax*2]

*2 [No Title of Nobility shall be granted by the United States: And no Person holding any Office of Profit or Trust under them, shall, without the Consent of the Congress, accept of any present, Emolument, Office, or Title, of any kind whatever, from any King, Prince, or foreign State]---[article 1 last paragraph of section 9 us constitution] http://www.archives.gov/exhibits/charters/constitution_transcript.html

*3 [(n.) One who has power and authority; a master; a ruler; a governor; a prince; a proprietor, as of a manor.] http://thinkexist.com/dictionary/meaning/lord/

just a thought but hey what do i know

Speaking of Wally World. Yeah, I am.

I have parked in their lot for a week at a time with mah leetle trailer and not once have they come out to runs-me-off.

i have used wally world for that same purpose many times

i had a 23 foot toyota motor home and hen a 34 foot south wind

but as for my above post i was revering to those that want to live in a permanent location while making the smaller environmental footprint

Well knock me down with a feather if I don't agree with Conrad's point.
shocked

Little bitty houses all over the landscape aren't the solution. They need to be clumped together in one area. The town I used to live in in Maine had zoning like that. People love to live in the "wilderness" but when they build their houses there it's no longer wilderness and it's spoiled for everybody. But if you build houses (even normal sized houses) in a designated area, you can be much more efficient about waste disposal, utility connections, and all that other expensive stuff.

I don't mean to make this sound black-and-white. I like a lot of space around me. But it's worth while thinking about other ways of living before we turn the entire earth into an anthill.

Wally World has a policy of welcoming RVs into their parking lots. I have spent the night there several times. There are actually camping maps that give the location of the nearest Wally World.
