Where did you read that? Insensitivity to stimuli has been reported to be linked to other neurological difficulties, but it's a pretty broad-spectrum diagnosis.
Dealing with what I believe you're describing, and not referencing anybody, the condition itself is primarily physiological and not psychological, so concepts such as love, remorse, and sadness should still be accessible unless there is a severe neurological problem associated with the insensitivity. |

That's an interesting article, but it's still too early to know anything definite. But the article is talking about physical pain, and I'm not sure how that would be connected with emotions. He obviously had other emotional problems, though. Very, very sad.

It is a form of Mental illness. |
