I know most women want to look slim. Do you pick men that are clearly heavier than you, so that you look thinner, together?

Because I was born premature, I will always look slightly mal-nutritioned. Or it could be something to do with how my blood can't absorb nutrients properly. So even if I WANT to be thin, I have no choice anyway, because being born premature, hell knows how, but fat burns quickly even WITHOUT exercise. I'm 5 ft 6. My legs are quite long. I don't really take notice of a guy's weight. Never thought to.

I am curvy, still tucking in my shirt but could stand to lose 10 lbs.
I walk up and down stairs all day so i have some muscle tone in the right places. I look at men with a healthy body, they could have 20lbs extra but more than that I may consider them a heart attack waiting to happen. Since I am a widow, i want my next relationship to last way into my retirement years. I dont pick men too much they pick me, which has it's downfalls. |

I think in western culture, it is generally expected for the woman to be larger than the woman. I dont think most western women are thinking about trying to look 'thin' as far as that preference is concerned. I think its more about who will be able to bea protector in a dangerous situation. Its just more secure feeling for many of us if we are not the biggest one in the relationship.

 I don't pay attention to the trends. I just want to be healthy. I don't pick who I date based on his size. However, if he can't keep up with me, how's he gonna get his  es?

I have done it in a sense...
Go out ...hit a club...I like hanging out close to the short, swarthy, unshaven slobs who is wearing a t -shirt, baggy shorts and hasnt reached for a brush in two days... It only makes me look more attractive. Some may think it is a ghetto cheat tactic.... So what? It works. :) |

I support anyone who would want to shed a few pounds, for a smattering of reasons too numerious to mention. It was just a thought, provoked by the fashion statement, "wearing black makes a woman look slimmer." |
