I don't really see how there's any difference between meeting someone here or in the real world and then starting dating them. If you are worried about players, then get to know them properly before jumping into bed with them.

You only know me from the internet though and you say that I don't seem like a player, so where is the problem? How does the fact that someone posts in forum threads make them less likely to be a player than someone that just likes to chat by PM? For all you know I could have several women on the go but perhaps you think that's unlikely because I would have had to have been posting here for months and pretending to be something that I'm not. Well, you can also chat with people by PM for months.

It would be great if everybody went on the forums but they don't and there are no women in my area, as far as I'm aware, that post in this forum. That's the problem with limiting yourself like that and for whatever reason, the women on dating sites are suspicious and it's hard to get them to even talk to you. That's what makes me feel like giving up.
