Women are attracted to "jerky" qualities. Jerks can actually command a room, lead a crowd, cause excitement - these are all things that turn girls on.

Kinda of like the girls in school who are attracted to the "bad boys" who wear the leather jackets and act tough??? And the guys are attracted to the sluttier girls.

I would hope some of the people outgrow this, that it might be a "phase" they go through. But as they get older and start looking for a serious partner in their lives, and want a family, I would THINK they would look for someone to treat them the right way, not be a jerk to them.

I know in my case I got married young and walked into it and was just blind, he did a Jekyll and Hyde after we got married, and the abuse started so fast, was blindsighted, and had no clue how to get out. Took me 10 years to finally get the guts to walk away. Had had guns pulled on me and knives, but finally walked anyway, and obviously did live to talk about it. Others have not been so lucky.

Well, I don't go after jerks- actually I don't go after men at all. That's just what I've ended up with. And I'm not into "bad boys." I just like guys who are cute, funny, and nice. They just end up being cute, funny jackasses.

At this point in my life I do hope my "jerk radar" is fixed and functioning and can spot them coming and I am a whole lot smarter than I was way back when.

I am definitely NOT into jerks, gotta be nice or keep walking. Life is too short to spend it getting hurt any more.
