 Did you post on the wrong thread? You might want to re-post the SPP info on that thread? I posted the war march info because this thread, at the start anyway, was about the war in Iraq... maybe i missed something in the intermittant links? But re your post- one thing I've noticed when I have attended big protests (especially the 2 I traveled to DC for) is that there are always some people protesting *ancillary* issues... e.g. at a peace protest in DC there were some Native American groups (Alaskans) calling attention to their environmental issues, there were other groups as well I just remember them because they had the best music... back on point... obviously, it's always a good idea to get as many people as possible to get the maximum media coverage, etc. so a lot of groups do multiple issues... But as far as why there are so many more SPP protests in Canada I thought that was because that's where the next SPP meeting is located? | |
