It is kind of a recurring theme that women are unable to find a nice guy, I am a kind caring and truly compassionate guy. I have a great job and I am educated. If a lady even responded back would be really happy. Not sure most truly know what they want. I am going back to meeting people the old fashioned way.

Well I suppose it depends on what you mean by decent. If you mean decent in bed well, those guys abound. But since you seem to be referring to the content of the character of the people who have subscribed to this site- I honestly couldn't say. There reasons people say and do things are often much more complex than first glances suggest. Who knows how many good and bad eggs are on here. There's one sure fire way to find out though- spend some time with them and decide for yourself.

Why do most guys on dating sites look for sex? It seems that many guys just want to hook up. What happened to treating a lady with respect and enjoying getting to know her by starting out as friends? Do you really act like that in person?

This behavior is quite common outside cyberspace as it is within, being driven by a primordial instinct to have sex with as many people as possible in accordance with reproduction drives. For males, that is. I don't know enough about female drives to comment on their end.

Some cultures have guidelines that curb these emotions and some do not and haven't for some time. While treating women with respect and dignity may be a hallmark of some cultures, it certainly doesn't seem to have affected the overall world trend where men are continually engaging in unrestrained sexual expression.

And that trend has existed for some time, it's not particularly new, per se, although some who miss the Victorian Era might think otherwise.
