Topic: The weekend is fast approaching now.

So this week has been going so slow since I made plans with a beautiful young lady that I met here to meet on Sunday now it's going so fast and I'm so nervous that when I think about it I start to sweat and shake a Little lol. I even think my dogs can smell the fear lol. Is that a sign that I'm not ready? Should I postpone? Or just grow some balls and do it? We have shared over 1000 mails in a week, I feel like I've known her for ages,we have the same likes, interests and views and she accepts that I'm a single dad with a lot of responsibility but still I'm freaking out. Any advice on how to overcome my fear or thoughts about this pls feel free to comment lol

Think about how much you'd regret not going. Even if it goes poorly, which it doesn't sound like it will, you will not have lost anything––she's only someone you've met online after all. You seem like a good guy. You've got this. Don't put too much pressure on yourself. Best of luck.

She could be, (and probably is), just as nervous as you. It won't get any easier postponing, go for it, relax and enjoy! Don't have any preformed ideas about how you want it to be just let things develop naturally and as oldhippie said,"be yourself"!

Treat her like a lady and don't bathe too soon before your date (natural pheromones work!). Try to balance the discussion fifty fifty as to whose talking but be quick to fill slow spots with humor. Make sure your hands touch her shoulders and back but don't be quick to touch her head. Open doors. Don't be cheap. Don't talk about exes. Tell here how nice she looks. Ask lots of questions about what she likes. In other words, don't be a pig!

be careful with the touchng anywhere unless the cues from her are very clear and positive along those lines. unless your first date last three days....I had one of those once :) I can;t be of much help otherwise. I have never been nervous for a date...it's just not something I'd be nervous about

That's all I went on previously and it got me nowhere, well except for my 2 beautiful children otherwise just a whole lot of heartbreak and trust issues. The prettier they are the higher the maintenance and the more fights with others guys trying to pick them up. I just hope she is as beautiful inside as what I think she is and it will all be good. And the 1000 mails is up to 1200 now not including the 75 texts shared on my phone lol. Maybe she is the one ? Or maybe not? Guess only time will tell. And thanks guys for the support. It's my first ever real date, seeing my ex and I met in school so I'm so nervous, terrified actually. But she says she is just as scared as I am so it might be a little awkward at first lol.
