The perfect date for me can be many activities, but one of them must include long, engaging conversations, sometimes about a specific subject, or nothing at all in particular, a topic that jsut goes everywhere and mutates one conversation about something as random as cookies to something hilarious like the continuity of William shatner's toupee in the Star trek films!
Overall, I value connection and conversation.
and even though it's cliche'd I dont think I've ever done it before with anyone: a long walk on a beach shore at night, hand in hand as we possibly share our first kiss.

Because I'm a romantic, and I like it like that. smooched

Picnic lunch down at the State Park right next to the waterfalls. A nice cool fall day, the trees all changing colors. Taking turns filming each other on camera, and the beauty all around us. Go for a swim in the waterfall, pull her close under the foaming base of it and hold her tight to me within its wake. Exploring its hidden mysteries, as well as each others.

That evening head back, and spend the night cuddled in a blanket with her looking through the pictures we took, watching our videos and laughing at every funny face, sharing every smile and getting lost in the togetherness.

Honestly anything as long as the girl is very pretty and enjoys talking to me. Could be as simple as sitting on a couch. I don't really care for scenery but if I was organizing the date I'd probably do some snooping to find out her favorite places/areas or somewhere she would really like to see/visit or certain activity etc.. and take her there. It would be a perfect date for me to see my mate enjoy it.

I honestly try not to go onto any situation expecting anything. I'm more the type to take it slow and just get to know the person for who they are. Also to see how things go. Its to easy to expect something, only to be let down. I find it much more rewarding going in, and turning it into a llearning experience. All to often people expect things from others instead of just accepting them for who they are as a person.

Mainly one filled with humor. Jim Carrey may not be that good-looking (depends on your taste personally), but I bet a night out with him would be really fun. I can imagine him doing hilarious stunt's like pretending to trip over. Etc. Anything else that happens would just be a bonus. I'm easy to please. Not in the pervy sense. lol. We could go anywhere. There's lots of choice.

first dates are best when you are pleasantly surprised in my opinion. Something thoughtful but not too much. dates further into a relationship are more fun when it's just hanging out. I'll take a beer by the fire to an over priced dinner date any day
