I lift weights alil and stretch a lot. Here is my problem....I haven't loss any weight now in 2 weeks....and below I will list what I eat everyday..

Breakfast: Oatmeal with raw honey, walnuts chopped, cinnamon and a banana.

Snack: 21 oz. of Juicer Drink ( mean green )
Snack: Banana

Lunch: Tuna in water with 1 avocado and handful of almonds and grapefruit.

Snack: 25gram Whey Protein shake with water or heaping spoonful of chunky peanut butter.

Dinner: Black Beans or Brown Rice with grilled chicken or turkey kielbasa.

I don't change what I eat...I exercise everyday...but no more loss of weight..... please help me anyone.

Mmm the only danger areas I see are the 2 daily bananas,
I would switch one to another fruit, specially the
diuretic ones like oranges or apples.

Also that avocado is high in calories and fat I believe,
you might switch with a huge salad.

Dieting always leads to plateaus, and strange as it may
seem, after about 6 weeks, if you added some calories
(maybe 200-300) for about a week, then went back to your
schedule, it might shake it loose :-)

The reason, of course, is that the body adapts to the
lower calories and does just fine, but can take you into
starving mode..adding a few back in for a week, then
removing them may give you another 6 weeks of weight loss.

Ok so add another fruit, which I will do another green apple for a snack. As far as the avocado isn't ok to eat a small one a day?

Congrats to you for trying to make yourself healthier!

I agree with Penny.. I'm down 74 lbs on my diet but have back problems so I can't always exercise as much as I would like..I'm diabetic but off all my meds for that and also my bp med..

Variety in your workouts help also.. Your body gets used to the same programs everyday.. Hang in there, you will feel much better in the long run..

My question would be, what times are you eating these?

I have gained and lost 60-80 pounds about 3 times now, currently I need to get on the losing track again,

The one thing I changed that would help through a plateau was the times of day I was eating. For example, not eating anything in the 3-5 hours before bedtime.

The other thing you can try, is switching the meals you eat, for example, eat your dinner meal for breakfast and your breakfast meal for dinner.

There was a study done on an overweight family and the only change they did was reverse the order in which they ate their meals, without changing what they ate, almost all lost over 20lbs.

If you lined up all the things you could that equaled that
avocado, and saw how much more you could eat, that would
answer your question :-)

Also the extra fruit instead works metabolically to cleanse
your intestinal track faster, ergo, faster weight loss.

Awesome advice you all! I want so bad to lose weight and I am so afraid to mess up and fail again. When is it ok to have a cheat day?

NEVER think of it as a 'cheat' day!
It is a needed, required sabbatical from extremism :-)
If one or two days a month of satisfying any cravings
you have developed, keeps you n track, go for it.

Cravings usually come about due to deprivation.
Not good for overall health.

And, I think you will find, when you DO eat something
not on your diet, you will eat less of it, as it is
not out of the loop.

There are a lot of different supplements that can help a person shed some weight, but they won't be of much use without a healthy nutritious diet and exercise. Also, it depends on what approach you want to take, for example, some supplements will suppress your appetite, others will help metabolize fat, others will help block carbs, allowing them to pass through your system without being absorbed.

Hoodia, is from an African plant, it can help suppress appetite. There are other appetite suppressants out there...

There are various carb blockers, like white bean extract...

Some supplements that can help shed some bodyfat, when used in conjunction with proper diet and exercise are Raspberry Keytones, CLA, and L-Carnitine.

Another supplement out there is called DMAA, I haven't tried it, but a lady at my work has lost a lot of weight on this stuff.

DMAA might be an illegal/banned substance. If you do take diet pills watch out for stimulants and stuff because they make some people psychotic/agitated and can cause other medical problems. Research anything you take to make a well rounded educated choice.

You diet does't look like a lot of calories. I don't know maybe increase your cardio or try to increase your metabolism by exercising and eating at certain times to maximize the effects.

Recently there's been some buzz about obesity having to do with your stomach bacteria.

Hello!
Great to hear about your journey!
In the past year, I have lost 80 pounds, with a lot left to go.
I myself hit this same wall a couple of months ago. You need to switch up your exercise routine. Definitely keep working on being able to run longer, and work towards higher impact exercises.
What got me through my struggle was amateur kickboxing. It is full body, intense, and never boring.
Also, I swear by my green tea every day. I drink at least 2 cups of organic hot green tea with each meal, sweetened with honey and I also add just a dash of cayenne pepper. The small amount of caffeine will boost your metabolism during meals, honey is a natural anti-inflammatory, and the catechins in the green tea and the capcaisan in the cayenne pepper help to neutralize the stress hormone cortisol, which can cause you store fat. It really kicks your energy up a notch too.

If this is your daily diet day after day it is grossly out of balance nutritionally.

Probably why you body is holding on to what calories it can.

The absence of texture and variety alone makes it sound oppressive and already has you craving "cheat days".

You say little about portion control which is key to balance of calories.

Or that you read labels to check for sugars and fats which both the peanut butter and turkey kelbasa, avacados, maybe even the tuna is if it is packed in oil. Is the milk 1% milk?

Maybe I over looked it but it appears you are not drinking water, No green tea, or any herb teas. Water you need a gallon a day as much as you are probably exerciseing is essential to prevent renal failure with Protein shakes which I have long seen as poor nutrition.

I am NOT a fan of juicing either because unless you are buying expensive organics and or seriously washing every thing you are eating a lot of pesticides in the rinds and leaves.

With what you are eating I can only wonder how you are not seriously constipated . I don't see a lot of fiber or whole grains, depends on what kind of oatmeal you are eating.

Your calorie pyramid needs to be inverted where a major share of your calories are before one o'clk not after.

You can be coming a gym rat since I see no interactive exercise like skateing, riding bikes, bowling, sports, gardening, or dancing to name a few.

You are young and NEED variety.

I've been asked this question quite a bit of times and there really is a simple answer

A good thing to do is first start off by basic stretches that is significantly important. To stay limber as possible don't strain your self know how far you can stretch

Secondly basic exercises followed by jogging

Best way to tackle all this at once start off with a small workout
Then progress and add more to it
Than shape the workout any way if needed

Best of luck

Maybe a fitness coach at your Gym able to advise you. You may need more protein n veg if ur doing so much excercise and drink plenty water if u are too drastic the body tends to rebel unless you were a fitness guy before then your body will shape up quickly muscle memory n that. Listen to your body it will tell you what it needs.

Have you got a dietician? If not, I really recommend one. They help you find a balance, by combining different food types. Be careful that you don't end up getting diahorrea or constipation often. As obvs that means something has gone wrong. Don't run yourself into the ground by overdoing it. Our bodies still need the tiniest bit of fat at times, because we need sugar to give us energy. Especially salt. Can you switch it up a bit, by drinking flavoured water? I think some diets demand way too much of banning everything.
