wouldn't it be nice to have Shed loads of $$$$$$...!

then we could really live... & experience all that life has to offer..

we,d definitely have more chance of finding true love..

lets face it.. most of us just " exist " .. !!

but we could really " Live " if we were Loaded..!

I envy people that have it all..

Lets face it people... most of us do..!

& before all you good people start saying

" Money cant buy you Love "

I honestly think it can help..

Give me feedback Ladies & Gents....

would you like to be Minted & Live the Life..

or stay as you are.. miserable & Skint..

I don't envy

but I do wish that money wasn't a concern

access to resources, turns an existence into a life,,,

Id love to work in jobs I Actually enjoyed,,, on the schedule that fit my life,

and have my daughter in schools that taught to her strengths and reinforced my values

and put some time into 'me' and expose my girl to different hobbies, interests, cultures,,,,,

sigh

would be so nice,,

you wouldn't have to work at all if you had loads of money..

think of the time you could spend indulging in you,re hobbies..

spending time with you,re Daughter..

getting her the top education in a private school..

travel the world 10 times over..

you want that..

I want that..

we all want that..

that's why we,re all envious of people in that position..

its normal to feel that way.. harmony..

I have a broader definition of work

for me, its any physical effort that contributes to someone elses happiness or well being,,,

so yeah, ID love to work, on volunteer basis, in lots of different areas,, like with the blind, or the impoverished, or young girls,,,etc,,

Lol

Oh dude, I was liking you then you had to go start a post about the big evil.

I've been on both ends. And this really depends on who you are and many times how thick of a skin you have and how big of a sucker you are as to if it is good to have the big bucks.

I know some who handle it well and others who wish it never would have happened.

I will tell you this for sure though, if you have had money and fallen from it, it's a longer drop than you can ever imagine and finding your way back to being you can take the rest of your life. Why? Cause money can plant an evil seed that you never knew existed, and many times you have no idea of how it changes you. For a few (a very few) it brings out the best. But for most it turns dark.

We all say, when I get rich I will do this as we put on our wings, but I have seen far more horns come out than wings.

And there's one more part to this that people don't think about. When you make a million plus you (unless you are very very lucky) loose you privacy.

You might think it is roses, and true there are some really good parts to it, but it's also true when people say "money doesn't make you rich".

Sometimes it's better to have the dream of "if I had" than actually having it.

Careful with the generalizations. Not ALL of us want that or are envious of people in that position. You cannot know unless you've been there. Money doesn't necessarily equate to life being a bed of roses, and in fact brings its own problems into the mix. Being rich doesn't mean you'll be happy, and some of us actually enjoy hard work, enjoy the rewards that are earned from the struggle and sacrifices we have to make to achieve things.

I, for one, wouldn't want to have everything handed to me on a silver platter. Might be nice for a week or two, but not as a lifestyle, but that's just me. Life of the rich and famous, lots of toys and a hectic existence...no thanks. I'll keep it simple and revel in a walk in the park with my dog.

I agree, and I think as luvmeforlif says we could travel more that alone would increase the chance of being able to meet the love of your life, or increase your opportunities for employment to increase your wealth....not to mention the learning and education that go along with having the resources to travel or attend cultural, scientific events, or live in a hood where the schools are good or access private schools. I'm older and don;t have schoolagers, but the chance to live in a community with really good outdoor education and arts resources and quality adult education resources...I'd probably particpate in more things that are not "necessity" expenses. That also increases the chance of meeting someone.

Money would make me happy. Just think you don't have get up early to work, fight heavy traffic, put up with cranky co-workers. You never have to worry about making ends meet, worry about your retirement. You could travel, take up hobbies, even go back to school. If you wanted to work; you could volunteer your time to help your community or start your own businesses. You could help your friends and family with food, housing; or special medical care if they needed it. You would never again stress out about money. I can't believe anyone likes to struggle and live pay to pay knowing that they could be homeless in a heart beat or anyone enjoys working themselves to death merely to put food on the table.

I can be happy with or without money, because I've had both ways. It all depends on whether I have a woman...surprised

QUOTE FROM OP: "...you try wiping the smile from my face..!!"

For some, a smile is often used to hide the pain and loneliness they feel within.

I would rather be poor and know that a person I loved, loved me in return, not because of the things I possess, but because they love me for who I am and not for the things I could provide for them. Anyone can pretend to love someone, if they could give them anything they desired. The proof of true love is, when you CAN'T give the object of your love every material possession they desire, will they choose to stay because they love YOU! JMHO.

I'm not that bothered about money and it wouldn't really make me happy to have more in the bank than I do now.

Seems to me that people that sayy that they are miserable without it are miserable for some other reason and they just see money as a quick fix, like a drug.

Yeah, I live comfortably enough and have no financial problems, so I'm not that bothered about it. You say that money improves your chance of finding love but then you are always going to wonder if it's your money that they want you for and you've swapped that as something that makes you insecure for whatever it was that you thought that the money would compensate for.

"Whad ya do for money honey where'd you get your kicks
whad ya do for money honey where'd you get your licks"

monetary happiness is one of three forms
of happiness but is generally short lived.
"Happiness is a warm gun"
Bought myself a lot of memories...just
can't remember 'em..and I got a good
memory.

Having financial success or even a windfall is not all it is cracked up to be.

Sure for a time being you might have a few things that make life less of a stress. It is nice not to worry about how much food or gas going to cost, if you gain or loose weight if your clothes are going to fit, if you are going to be warm or cold as the seasons change. That losing a job might put you in the street.

But having money can not fix your health, keep you from ageing, or make people care about you, or give your ideas any real credibility or respect for only a few reasons.

If you have money weather you earned it or not there is ALWAYS someone, often people who you thought once loved you who will resent you for what they will call luck or thievery weather it is or not. You can get plenty of unwanted attention. The line to beg is endless and if you don't chose them they become your enemy. Then when the money is gone , even if you shared it, they are gone and blaming you for wasting your chance.

nothing is perfect

but Id prefer the imperfect life of one with unlimited resource

to the imperfect life of one struggling to decide between food on the table or gas in the car,,,

Money makes things easier but it can make you too relaxed. If I had to pick the best part of my life I would be relatively poor with relatively little income living in an apartment with a box for my tv and an old couch left by the previous tenant with my girlfriend at the time. You don't need money to buy happiness it's just a tool and a bunch of math/numbers.
