HELLO EVERYONE, I JUST WANTED TO LET U KNOW WHY I STARTED THIS THREAD,I WAS VERY SMALL A YEAR AND HALF AGO.AND I WAS A SMARTELECT.CAUSE I KNEW WITH MY FIGURE I COULD HAVE ALMOST ANY MAN I DESIRED.BUT MY SON WAS MURDERED.AND I WENT INTO DEEP DEPRESSION.AND HAD TO TAKE MEDS,AND HAVE GAINED WEIGHT.IM NOW HUMBLE.BUT SOME GUYS LOOK AT ME NOW AS IF IM A PLAGUE OR DISEASE.MY PERSONALITY IS BETTER.AND II HAVE MORE LOVE AND CARE FOR PEOPLE NOW.IF I COULD HAVE STAYED SMALL IT WAS NICE.BUT NOT MY ATTITUDE.I KNOW MEN HAVE PREFRENCE JUST LIKE WOMAN.BUT THEY SHOULD ALSO TAKE TIME OUT TO SEE IF SHE IS A BIG EATER .OR IS SHE TRAPPED IN A BODY OF PAIN AND DEPRESSION.HE MIGHT FIND THE WONDERFUL LADY THAT ONLY NEEDED LOVE AND A NEW LIFE TO HELP HER GET BACK ON TRACK.I WILL SAY ONCE I HAVE LOST THIS WEIGHT.THE ONES THAT DIDNT WANT ME NOW.I DONT WANT THEM THEN.DO U BLAME ME..THANK ALL OF U...

I know how you feel......when I was pregnant with my son I went from 95 lbs to 170lbs.....I was devastated!!! My bf called me a big fat whale.....it was horrible.....it wasnt a good experience for me being pregnant for how he treated me........

I had toxemia......it wasnt my fault .......

people can be mean but personality always wins people over!!!

I am so sorry about your son. I understand about the meds and depression causing you to gain weight, I have been that route too. It is hard to lose the weight. Men do treat you like a second class citizen and it hurts. But I am glad you can see how it has changed your way of looking at life and your attitude. You are a good person and you will lose the weight. It just takes time and you will get there. You will make them eat their hearts out girl. Keep up the good work.

Hang in there, there are a lot of good people on here and there are men on here who don't care about the weight either. Give them a chance. Take care.

Truth is girl there are guys out there who won't care about the weight. There are some on here who don't care about extra weight, they can see past it and into your heart and personality. I have made some excellent friends who don't care about my being overweight. Just believe in yourself and love yourself, and don't let anyone make you feel bad about yourself. Be patient and take it slow. Good luck in your search. Just be yourself and dazzle them with who you are. Take care.

So sorry to hear that,but I know what your saying I gained alot of weight from meds I was on a yr. ago.But there are alot of really great people here that don't look at size,just be you.

Yeah, Big is one of the good guys. You too, Thumper. I have met quite a few on here that are nonjudgmental, some in their 30s that have become good friends of mine and many in their 40s on up. Will just take Princess time to get to know some of them, she is still new here.

On here you will find more that accept you for who you are, then shallow people. You will form bonds of friendship, and I can tell you from experience no matter if things are going good, or bad these friendships are cemented with love. Weight gain is caused by many different things, when its time for the weight to come off it will, and those who don't accept you now, are ones you don't want in your life later on. Keep on posting, join in with the fun, and welcome to the place where you will find a new family...... a family of strength, acceptance, and love.

its messed up,, when im good i lose weight to a point,, then the world crashes on me and i lose even more. just cant get under 280. my dr wants to kick my ass for the way i lose weight. but im healthy at least.
